Osborne House Care Home

All staff really lovely, will do anything to help and are kind and patient. Management very approachable and supportive. Care home is clean and well maintained. Lots of activities and themed days planned for those who want to take part.

I cannot thank the staff on the dementia floor enough for their care and kindness to my husband and us especially in his final few weeks. They helped more than they probably realise, was so pleased to see his main carers at his funeral this week although I can't fault any of the staff. Kind and considerate, went out of their way for us and it was so appreciated. Thank you, all of you.

I visit my wife Sandra every day. Consequently I've got to know very many staff and have good relationships with all of them. Standing out is Ashleigh, the 1st floor manager. She is outstanding in her role, really caring and hard working. I'm comfortable and re-assured that Sandra is in a good place, especially when Ashleigh is on duty.

I like it because in less than 2 weeks I have got my confidence back. My ability to move around is quite amazing as I was struggling quite a lot. My weight is now over 8 stone as I was 7 stone 7 pounds. I find the staff great with consideration from them amazing with the patience they show me. The quality is great.

My friend came in unable to care for himself, so he got offered a place here and after 3 days he was thriving and doing things for himself, his mood and personality are so much happier. He is gaining weight and eating better overall I would give Osbourne House a 5 star reciew its good to have my friend back

The care that was shown to me & my family following Dad's death was also exemplary

My uncle Paul has been in Osbourne House for a few weeks. When I have visited my uncle, staff have been polite, kind, helpful and tried to help my uncle in every way possible.

My mother doesn't always remember the activities she has taken part in, but we are delighted with the activities she has taken part in from singing, art, V.E Day celebrations, entertainment, etc!

I can't fault the care given to my mother. Everyone at Osborne House is caring, friendly & efficient. While I was away recently, I had no doubt that my mothers care would continue to be first class.

I can't thank the staff enough, they care really well for mum. They are there when you need questions answering and are helpful and friendly. Her room is nice and clean and the food looks nice and is nice. I sampled Christmas dinner.

I came on to nursing floor at Osborne House in Sept 25, I came as a end of life resident being here has made all the difference to me. The staff are kind, considerate and caring often going above and beyond to support me on my journey. They are exceptionally professional and with care and respect its home from home.

Respectful, kind staff very supportive. I have capacity and I have good days and bad days, the staff are always respectful of my wishes, whilst encouraging me to eat, take medication but understand if I don't. Beautiful room, kept immaculately clean by housekeeping staff who always have a chat and smile for me if I'm awake.

Mum went to Osborne House for respite after being in hospital in November '25. Unfortunately mum's condition deteriorated and she was moved onto the nursing floor. The staff welcomed us with open arms on arrival: they took time to listen and understand mum's preferences and history. They treated her as an individual throughout. The level of care and professionalism is outstanding. Every member of the team at Osborne, including the housekeeping team, deliver a friendly service, offer companionship whilst doing their jobs and go above and beyond. They are very good on health & safety for mum and support for her and myself. They are patient, kind and very passionate about their roles. We don't feel anxious about mum's wellbeing now as we know she is being card for properly. We know that, in mum's twilight days, she is receiving the best possible care in a lovely home-like atmosphere. We cannot praise the staff and Allison the Manager enough and feel fortunate to have mum in Osborne House.

Although my Dads time at Osborne house was only for a few weeks before he passed. What an amazing group of people who work at Osborne House , the care they showed my Dad during this time was so loving & respectfully, he managed to celebrate his 94th birthday & take part in the bingo these are memories we will cherish for ever.

Very nice clean place and Mum is very happy here.

We enjoyed a superb Christmas lunch and it was lovely to meet more residents and see them enjoying themselves.
