My brother is a resident at this home and is being looked after very well by very hardworking carers. I have found all carers are friendly and attentive with all residents..
I am informed if there is any change in my brother's condition, which is very comforting.

Highgrove and its staff are amazing and genuinely care. I could not wish for anywhere better for my mother to be. She is cared for and looked after so well. It is a daunting thing to happen when a relative goes into care, but I shouldn't have worried. My mother, who had become a 'bag of bones' & unkempt,
has put 1 stone on, looks well, and so cared for. Thanks to all at Highgrove.
PS The entertainment & games are excellent.

Holyrood House

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
I would like to sincerely thank ALL staff for making my stepmothers stay a very pleasant experience. I cannot believe the difference in her mental health and wellbeing, if feels like we have my old stepmother back as she was before. The last two years has been extremely difficult for the family and
my 92 year old father to see her deteriorate. She was admitted two weeks ago as a result of my father having a fall and breaking his hip, needing surgery and hospitalization. We are hoping dad can join mum soon and I an 100% confidence in the staff in caring for them both going forward. Taking my mum in has given the whole family relief in knowing she is being cared for so well and has allowed us to concentrate on dad while in the hospital.

I have nothing but praise for ALL the staff and hope that if ever I am in need of care then I would love to be in Holyrood House without any doubt.

WELL DONE TO ALL STAFF - WE AS A FAMILY LOVE YOU ALL VERY MUCH IN MAKING US PART OF YOUR FAMILY.

I would like to thank Westroyd from the bottom of my heart for the care they gave my Grandma. Sadly Grandma didn't get much time to create many memories here. But in the time spent at Westroyd she was shown nothing but love, dignity, care and respect. The home has a very special team who genuinely
care about all the residents and my Grandma was cared for from her first day to her last.

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
My mum has settled so well at Astley Hall. The rooms are kept spotlessly clean and mum is always dressed, clean and wearing her pearls when I visit with a big smile on her face which speaks volumes. I visit every other day. There is also a hair salon and Bistro on site. Mum has visits to both and often
Mum and I enjoy a sing song in The Bistro when events are being held. Mum has become quite fussy eating lately and the staff go above and beyond to try different items of food that mum might like. Every single member of staff put's so much effort, patience, care and compassion into looking after my mum and even after the long hours they all put in, they still find the time to ask how I am. I could not have managed this dementia journey without you all, the support means a lot to me. What a great team! Thank you to the whole team that makes Astley Hall what it is and for all your smiles and support!

We put mum into Beaumont for two weeks respite care in late October but she was so well looked after by the lovely staff there that when it was time to bring her home we decided to leave her there. They got her involved in activities such as baking and making Halloween decorations, she made friends
and had loads of stimulation which was just what she needed. We couldn't be more grateful.

This is a very special place! It's a lovely building with very nice decor, and you are welcomed as soon as you set foot through the door. The food is very tasty, and drinks readily available. However, what really makes this place special are the staff. They are kind, caring, approachable, supportive
and patient. They are professional too, with everything done the right way. My stepfather wanted to come here when he needed more support after the way my mum was cared for here. The staff are like family to him. There is no better tribute.

My mum came into your care on 1st April 2025 but sadly passed with you on 27th September 2025 while she was in your care. The staff were amazing with her the care she received was 2nd to none. My mum could be difficult at times but all the staff showed patients and care. On the last few days before
her passing the care and dignity shown to her was the best I have seen in my 43 years of being in care and all the staff were lovely to myself and family. Highly recommend.

My father in law was a permanent resident at St James Court, sadly he recently passed away, he received excellent care throughout the years, nothing is too much trouble for the staff, so caring and compassionate, I would recommend St James Court to anyone looking for a care home.

My mother is constantly in her room. She barely enjoys communal areas/activities. She has had falls over the last several months, resulting in hospital visits. On one of these visits, the attending doctor was so concerned about her levels of dehydration he suggested I inform social services. Which I
did. I have again contacted them again regarding her latest hospital admission (hydration again). This is unacceptable due to her being on assisted fluids and food. How on earth does she become dehydrated.

It was suggested to us as a family that perhaps respite care would help in my mums recovery following a series of major life and health events.Looking for the right care home was obviously extremely important to us and we found that in the Royal Windsor. It is a very warm, friendly place with wonderful
caring staff and exceptional food. Family and friends are made to feel so welcome and it just has a very special feeling about it. In my opinion it has the whole package. Mum was in the care of the Royal Windsor team for seven months and in that time we all saw such a positive change in her - back to her former self and now she is home again. The nurturing, care and support that mum received at the Royal Windsor - by all the team, I believe helped mum achieve this goal and we are truly grateful for this. Thank you.

I was a resident at the Royal Windsor care home for seven months following a period of ill health. It is a very nice place and has such a warm atmosphere. All the staff are so lovely and very kind and the food at the home is outstanding. I was very happy there and made lots of friends. If I needed respite
again in the future I wouldn't go anywhere else other than the Royal Windsor. The encouragement that I received helped me enormously in my recovery. Thank you very much.
