This person has great organisation skills, very helpful with a great attitude to both residents and family always willing to go the extra mile and is a great ambassador to the manor.

Very professional in her approach & cooks very much apart of the team and is a team player to all as a concierge she is always looking to enhance both peoples experance and facilities with in the manor, the extra ideas make the manor, the manor.

Dad has been a resident of Goldsborough Manor for a little over two weeks. He has settled in amazingly quickly which is due to the fabulous staff who make sure that his care needs are met so fully. I'm concerned about my husbands basic hygeine and overall care. His ears are never cleaned properly, behind the ear and just inside the ear, where there is often a build up of dry skin and stale food. Hands & finger nails are regularly smelly and grimy. He wears a splint and his hand bends in. This is all in a nutshell. He can be resistive but this shouldn't be an ongoing excuse. Same with his showers. He never has any interaction from staff or walks our like other residents despite me asking. This is all in a nutshell.

Overall Experience

When my husband's Alzheimers accelerated and his health deteriorated there was only one option left. He went into St James Court in March 2024 after a stay in hospital. I can honestly say that the staff are professional dedicated and go above and beyond. They care and look after the residents like family. The home is very welcoming spotlessly clean and the food wholesome and appetising. The activities are fun, entertaining, varied and keeps everyone smiling. Knowing my husband is in a safe environment and treated with kindness and respect is so comforting, I can't praise them enough and would 100% recommend this home.

My Mum absolutely loves it here. The staff are brilliant, so caring and look after the residents brilliantly. It's lovely to know that Mum is so well cared for, all staff go over and beyond in their caring, supporting roles. I know if I have any concerns they'd be listened to and acted upon. Overall Experience

A charming place to live and visit with professional and friendly staff, who are genuine, invested and are dedicated to both the resident, family and friends well being. The hospitality, caring and housekeeping is of a high standard. The food is excellent. The facilities are comfortable and get a real sence of being at home. The support from Management and staff is very positive. From a pastoral point of view there is a sence of positive support and recognition of individuality. The well being coordinators are doing a great job with a variety of activities.

Absolutely fantastic care witnessed of my father.
He looks happy, well cared for and most importantly he feels loved.

A great deal of thought clearley goes into the activities.

I feel very welcome whenever I visit the staff are very nice always
My sister in law feels very happy and safe and looked after very well

The home is very clean my 9 yr old grandaughter has comented on how clean the home is.

My partner was a resident on end of life care for just over 2 1/2 years. Every person, everything that was needed to help and give my partner the end of life care that she needed was provided 24/7.

Overall Experience

My Mum has been a resident at Claremont for over a year now. I cannot praise the home enough. As you walk in, the home smells clean and fresh. It has a home from home feel about it. The staff are fabulous and very caring with the residents. Activities are varied from board games to volley ball. Only last week, my Mum was taken to the coast for a day out which she thoroughly enjoyed. The home regularly organises visitors into the home. They celebrate all major events such as the World Cup to VE Day etc. They have recently developed a large garden area where residents are encouraged to plant flowers and vegetables. I have recently had major health issues. The one thing I haven't had to worry about is my Mum who is happy and content at Claremont. I cannot recommended Claremont enough.

My husband came to Astley Hall for a week's respite care, to give me a break. From the start, all the staff, without exception, were so friendly and welcoming;, throughout his stay they showed such care and understanding. It is a lovely home, well run with a lovely free atmosphere. Thank you to all the staff; you are wonderful.

Overall Experience

The activities seemed to be for people with a low ability and not very encouraging to the more mental capacity type. Ian enjoyed the exercise session. We know it is difficult for him to do many things as he is blind.

When stay at belvedere house care home I have find everything to be very good. Staff have been amazing when meeting my needs and manager are very welcoming.
The food at belvedere house have been amazing and I haven't had any fault everything has been great.

I would recomend to anyone to go to belvedere house.

Overall Experience

Dad has been in care at Kensington Care Home since November 2025 and has received excellent care. All the staff are wonderful and genuinely caring. They treat residents with dignity and respect and work very hard to create a warm and loving environment. The home is extremely clean, comfortable and well maintained and the staff are always approachable and more than happy to help with any concerns. Knowing Dad is safe, happy and well looked after gives us great peace of mind. Many thanks to everyone at Kensington.
