I visit my wife Sandra every day. Consequently I've got to know very many staff and have good relationships with all of them. Standing out is Ashleigh, the 1st floor manager. She is outstanding in her role, really caring and hard working. I'm comfortable and re-assured that Sandra is in a good place, especially when Ashleigh is on duty.

I like it because in less than 2 weeks I have got my confidence back. My ability to move around is quite amazing as I was struggling quite a lot. My weight is now over 8 stone as I was 7 stone 7 pounds. I find the staff great with consideration from them amazing with the patience they show me. The quality is great.

My friend came in unable to care for himself, so he got offered a place here and after 3 days he was thriving and doing things for himself, his mood and personality are so much happier. He is gaining weight and eating better overall I would give Osbourne House a 5 star reciew its good to have my friend back

My mum has complex care needs, so it is very important to me that she is looked after with due diligence in a supportive environment. This care home has achieved that. All the staff are dedicated and friendly. They work alongside external agencies and listened to my wishes, communicating weekly on mum's progress. The home is clean and organised and I felt secure that Mum was safe and content during each respite stay.

I came to visit as my aunt is staying here, I cannot give praise to all the staff here from the moment I walked through the door I saw that my aunt was enjoying some activities with staff members, she was enjoying herself so much I didn't want to interrupt! I spoke to a staff member who told me how my aunt was getting along there and I can honestly say she's like a different person. Thank you to all the staff that work there my aunt is having a fun time and I can see that she is getting all the care she needs and some.

The care that was shown to me & my family following Dad's death was also exemplary

When first arriving at Goldsborough Manor, we both thought it was a beautiful building, well maintained and the gardens were well kept. As soon as we walked through the door, we knew this was the right place, it was lovely and clean and well presented. The staff are kind attentive and passionate about there work, also the management maintains excellent communication, ensuring the care home is ran with the utmost dignity and respect. We would highly recommend Goldsborough Manor to anyone seeking compassionate and professional care. It offers incredible peace of mind.

As a regular visitor I like coming here. My wife gets freedom knowing that I am in good hands.

Very professional in her approach & cooks very much apart of the team and is a team player to all as a concierge she is always looking to enhance both peoples experance and facilities with in the manor, the extra ideas make the manor, the manor.

Dad has been a resident of Goldsborough Manor for a little over two weeks. He has settled in amazingly quickly which is due to the fabulous staff who make sure that his care needs are met so fully. A wonderful home with a real family feel. Thank you for embracing Dad so warmly, it gives us such peace of mind to know that he's being cared for so well.

My uncle Paul has been in Osbourne House for a few weeks. When I have visited my uncle, staff have been polite, kind, helpful and tried to help my uncle in every way possible.

A great deal of thought clearley goes into the activities.

The home is very clean my 9 yr old grandaughter has comented on how clean the home is.

Dad has been in care at Kensington Care Home since November 2025 and has received excellent care. All the staff are wonderful and genuinely caring. They treat residents with dignity and respect and work very hard to create a warm and loving environment. The home is extremely clean, comfortable and well maintained and the staff are always approachable and more than happy to help with any concerns. Knowing Dad is safe, happy and well looked after gives us great peace of mind. Many thanks to everyone at Kensington.

Fantastic care home! All staff and facilities 10/10 very welcoming and involving on so many leviels. My mum couldn't be anywhere better in my view. All staff and management keep me involved on all levels which is very reassuring.

Resident in Kensington Care Home since March 2025. Very well cared for with warmth and kindness. Staff excellent and always willing to help in this happy, comfortable home.

Re food: This needs improvement. Lack of fresh green vegetables throughout the week. Lots of 'beige' food and often pastry-based offers on. Sunday lunch does tend to be the best quality meal of the week. For the money chargd - the food needs to be much better.

My mother doesn't always remember the activities she has taken part in, but we are delighted with the activities she has taken part in from singing, art, V.E Day celebrations, entertainment, etc!
