I have worked within the Crown Care Group for 4 years. With the previous 3 years as a Registered Manager, I was then given the opportunity to take on the role of Customer Relations Manager which I loved. I was lucky to have the pleasure of guiding people through the whole process from enquiry to admission. Building relationships and trust to ensure a smooth transition and make what can be a very difficult time as easy and enjoyable as possible.
I am now in the position of Deputy Manager, leading the team and working alongside the Home Manager.
I also work closely alongside our activities coordinator to provide and maintain an individual person-centred lifestyle plan as well as plan amazing events. My previous position also enabled me to support the Management team in all aspects of the home.
I have done Administration all my working life and like to think I’m fairly good at it by now! I have worked in care for the last six years and I thoroughly enjoy it. It's a hard-working job however it is very rewarding. I love meeting new people and getting to know them, listening about their lives and being able to support them and giving them the care they need in a person-centred way.
