Over all time Belvedere House Care Home has 48 reviews.
I have been a resident at Belvedere House for 18 months now and I can say that during that time I have found everything to be very special. The members of staff have been wonderfully caring and friendly. All the rooms are very well cared for by excellent cleaners and hygiene is top rank! A location like this would make anyone living here very appreciative of the loving care they receive.
Thank you so much for your lovely comments. it really means so much to the whole team to know you are happy with the care and facilities at Belvedere House.
My mum was the first resident in Belvedere House when it first opened. From that day to the present day, she has been looked after, cared for and given love by the staff of this home, her needs have always been met with dignity and kindness. I and my family have no concerns at all about our mum living at Belvedere, from which we would advise anyone thinking about short or long stay in a care home to visit others in the area and then visit Belvedere, there is no comparison in quality and comfort.
What lovely comments, Ann, it means so much to the whole team to hear how happy family members are with the care, welcome and kindness they provide. I will be sure to share this with them.
The home itself is purpose-built, very comfortable, warm and inviting. Each room is equipped with en suite facilities and individual thermostats enabling each resident to have their heating just as they like it.
There is regularly (each day) a varied and interesting programme of activities and interests with many professional entertainers visiting.
Throughout the year there are various events eg. Summer BBQ, Christmas Fayre and Summer Fayre to which the public is always very welcome.
Mum is now going into her third year living at Belvedere and she could not have had better care and attention from anywhere else. She is happy, safe and very well cared for. We could not ask for more, the staff go that extra mile for everyone each day.
Thank you so much for your lovely comments, it's wonderful to also see such lovely words about the fantastic events throughout the year. I will be sure to pass your review on to the team.
My mum has been a resident at Belvedere House Care Home since it first opened. During her stay, she has received excellent care from dedicated staff who always treat her with respect and dignity. Before my retirement, I worked as a GP in East Sussex visiting many residential care homes and in my opinion, the standard of facilities, cleanliness and care at Belvedere House is among the best I have seen.
What amazing comments, it truly does mean so much to the whole team to hear relatives are so pleased with the care and environment. thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review.
I feel so glad that Belvedere House staff are caring for both my parents. All the staff do everything they can to understand each of them and arrange things like beds, crockery, alarms, activities and food accordingly. The respect for each person is genuine, whenever I visit, the staff share tales of what they have been up to. I get excellent updates and I am really impressed by the ideas and ways staff come up with to make being at Belvedere the best life for residents they can.
Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful feedback, Claire. We are truly grateful for your kind words and are so pleased to hear that your experience with us was a positive one. It means a great deal to the entire team to know that we made a difference. Kind regards, Shiva.
I cannot describe how beautiful Belvedere House is. Be very proud of what you have achieved. Absolutely magical. Thank you.

Your kind words mean a lot to our team and they inspire us to continue providing the highest level of care and comfort for our residents. Kind regards, Shiva.

Dear Ray, thank you so much for your wonderful feedback! We are delighted to hear that you were enjoying your time at Belvedere House. It is our top priority to ensure that all our residents feel comfortable, valued and at home, so your feedback means the world to us. Kind regards, Shiva.
We like the excellent staff, from carers right up to management, and the overall atmosphere of Belvedere, a very happy and safe environment for residents. Very sad to leave and will really miss everyone.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your review with us. We truly appreciate your kind words about our staff and the atmosphere at Belvedere. It brings us great joy to hear that you found our team, from carers to management, to be excellent. Providing a happy and safe environment for our...
Belvedere House is the most luxurious environment and every member of staff has been exemplary. It is a shining example of what care should be. They have made what has been a difficult decision more bearable. Their care extends beyond the residents - they have been so supportive of me and all the complex emotions of having to move my dad to a residential home. I feel completely at peace now knowing what quality of care my dad is receiving and would wholeheartedly recommend Belvedere House to anyone considering residential care.
I wanted to express my sincere gratitude for your kind words and positive feedback about your experience with us. We truly appreciate your thoughtful comments. Knowing that we've made a positive impact on you and your loved one's experience means the world to us. We're committed to...
He has a lovely room and the staff are very approachable and friendly. He still maintains some independence at the same time as being safe and cared for.
I fully recommend Belvedere.
We are grateful for your feedback. Knowing that our care at Belvedere House has positively impacted your dad's experience means the world to us. Thank you for your kind words and trust in our services.
Kind regards.
After caring for Mum at home for fifteen years, she tried respite at Belvedere House and never left. The manager visited us at home, prior to admission, taking full details of Mum's needs. From her first day, Mum felt at home. Good food, fantastic room but most important, I am happy she is well cared for. Staff are friendly and helpful and Mum feels "safe". She enjoys the activities and chatting to her friends. As a family, we would recommend Belvedere.
Thank you so much for your positive feedback! We're thrilled to hear about your positive experience in our care home. Your kind words inspire us to continue delivering exceptional care.
Kind regards.
Five stars for everything. My mother has been in Belvedere House since November and we can't praise it enough. The rooms, food and care are second to none. The staff and management go out of their way to ensure mum has everything she needs and still find time to talk to her, so she does feel like this is her home. It's a shame that, due to her medical conditions, she cannot take part in or appreciate all that is on offer. We would highly recommend it to anyone.
Thank you so much for your lovely review! We love having your mother here - she is such a sweetheart! It is our pleasure to be able to take care of her and we are so glad Belvedere House feels like home.
We feel that the care is excellent. My mother has often commented that she feels loved, and I think this is the highest accolade she could give.
Anne thank you so much for your comments. We are so happy your mother is happy at Belvedere House. I will be sure to pass on your kind words to the team.
I would like to thank everyone in Belvedere House Care Home for all the help I have received during my respite stay. I feel I must now move on and find more Opportunities to get me keeping busy so that my health will improve.
Thank you for your review! We always knew you were only here temporarily but we didn't want you to leave and you are welcome back anytime! We hope you are really happy now you are moved into your new home.
I think this care home is excellent. The staff are very good and kind and nothing is too much trouble for them.
Thank you so much for your lovely comment which will mean the world to all the staff team. We are so pleased that you chose Belvedere House as your home.
My mum has been in Belvedere House for almost three months and she loves it. We thought it was a special place the first time we went to look round and we were not wrong. Everything about this place is fantastic - the design, the furnishings, the facilities, the en-suite bedrooms, the communal areas, the cleanliness, the activities, the ambience etc. But the most fantastic thing about Belvedere House is the staff and I mean all staff, I don't want to list names or job titles because I don't know all their names or job titles so I don't want to miss anyone out. They treat both residents and their families with care and respect, are so welcoming and nothing is too much trouble for them. I love watching how they interact with Mum and how she responds to them. In Mum's own words she is happy, spoilt and lucky to have found this place and it is the best thing she has done going to live there! If you are looking for a care home for a relative or yourself, I can 100% recommend Belvedere House.
Thank you so much Kim for your lovely words. I will be sure to pass this on to the whole team who will be really touched. The whole team take great pride in the care they provide and want to ensure all residents and visitors feel welcome and respected. Your kind words really do mean so much.
I would like to say that, in my opinion, you would not be able to find a better care home in which to stay. Can't ask for anything better and am so glad to be staying here as it is like a fabulous hotel. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff, and they are all so friendly and helpful. Meals are really enjoyable too.
What lovely words, Dorothy! It's an absolute pleasure to care for you, and we feel honoured that you chose Belvedere House as your new home. I will be sure to pass them on to the whole team.
As a chiropodist/podiatrist, I have years of experience working in various residential and nursing homes, including five-star organisations. I must say, I was so incredibly impressed with Belvedere House. Initially from an architectural point of view as the building has an old-style house facade, with the main building extending backwards rather than the usual full fronted large none inviting care home. The facilities are second to none and no expense has been spared with the whole emphasis made to provide a truly, homely feel, including a bar, cinema, conservation and various small cosy lounges. All are excellently furnished and decorated (better than most hotels!). The quality of care/friendliness/love provided is excellent. In the words of my grandma; "they make you feel special". Belvedere House is truly outstanding; the very best I've ever visited! Belvedere House is a true beacon of how all care facilities should be.
Well, what can we say but we are all overwhelmed with your comments! The whole team work so hard to ensure all our residents are cared for and feel loved while in beautiful surroundings. The proprietor of Crown Care is heavily involved with the architecture and décor of the homes to provide the...
Everyone here is thoughtful and accommodating of any requests service users may have. I have so much peace of mind knowing my dad is living here where he is happy and cared for 24/7.
What lovely words! We are all so happy that you feel the peace of mind now your dad is residing with us. It is an absolute pleasure to care for him and always lovely to see you in the home.
As a family, we did everything that we could to enable Dad to stay in his family home in which he has lived for over 60 years. Eventually, it was decided that we would need to put Dad into respite care while we considered our next move. Finding Belevedere House was such a relief. A purpose-built, beautiful home was waiting for him, he is now staying permanently. The building, decoration and grounds are just brilliant. Dad particularly liked his room that faced onto the gardens and the garden room. All the staff are respectful, happy and interested in both residents and visitors. The open-door policy is very welcoming. The house is also well managed and we are so happy that Dad is now safe and looked after really well with such kindness. Thank you, everyone.
Helen, thank you for your kind words. It means so much to all the staff here at Belvedere House. We love having your dad stay with us and had so much fun celebrating his birthday!

Meet the Team (13)

I have worked within the Crown Care Group for 4 years. With the previous 3 years as a Registered Manager, I was then given the opportunity to take on the role of Customer Relations Manager which I loved. I was lucky to have the pleasure of guiding people through the whole process from enquiry to admission. Building relationships and trust to ensure a smooth transition and make what can be a very difficult time as easy and enjoyable as possible.
I am now in the position of Deputy Manager, leading the team and working alongside the Home Manager.
I also work closely alongside our activities coordinator to provide and maintain an individual person-centred lifestyle plan as well as plan amazing events. My previous position also enabled me to support the Management team in all aspects of the home.

I have done Administration all my working life and like to think I’m fairly good at it by now! I work in the care industry specifically because I want to feel that my job is worthwhile and that I am giving something back to society. We all want to know our loved ones are being taken care of by people who know what they are doing and really care.

I have worked in care for over 20 years having worked in several care homes as well as in the community. What I love about working at Belvedere House as a Unit Manager is teamwork and passion for delivering care with dignity and integrity while creating a relaxing yet fun environment to enrich everyone’s life.

I have been working at Belvedere House for over a year after working in care homes for 9 years. I have worked in care for the last six years and I thoroughly enjoy it. It's a hard-working job however it is very rewarding. I love meeting new people and getting to know them, listening about their lives and being able to support them and giving them the care they need in a person-centred way.
Working at the Belvedere House has been a pleasant experience so far. The overall look of the home is stunning. The staff are lovely and polite and hard working. I also feel that we have an amazing and supportive manager.

My name is Lisa Harrison, I am a care assistant at Belvedere house, I have worked in the care sector for around 12 years, I was first in community care, caring for people who had had strokes and drug and alcohol rehabilitation, I then went on to work in a care home for the elderly, looking after residents with advanced dementia, behaviours that may challenge and end of life care, I enjoy working in the care sector as every day is a learning curve, I really enjoy the person-centred care that Belvedere House allows, seeing the residents flourish, I find this very rewarding.

This has been my first experience working in the care sector and I feel I have been blessed to have had the best experience at Belvedere House. The Team have not only welcomed me but has taught me so much, they have enabled me to develop and learn from experienced staff who have a wealth of knowledge caring for the elderly. It is a joy to come to work. I feel supported and valued as a member of the Belvedere family.

I have worked in the care sector for 11 years, Having a passion to provide restaurant quality, nutritious food in a care home setting has always been a driving force for me. I feel my ideas, views and knowledge is always taken on board and achieved as a team, with the well-being of the residents at the forefront of everything they do.
