Like all families it was a difficult decision having a parent leave independant living. This situation was eased greatly on our first visit to Belvedere. The staff, the facilities the care is second to none, dad feels comfortable and secure with genuine effectionate care. As visitors we feel welcome
and its a pleasant experience. I would highly reccomend Belvedere to anyone looking for high quality care.

I visited several care homes prior to my dad becoming a resident and Belvedere House was by far the most welcoming. Each time I visit there is a friendly face to greet me in reception. The dementia unit is spotlessly clean, a calm, happy environment where I see many residents resting in comfort or
engaged in purposeful activities. The home is beautifully appointed, the food I have sampled is good. The staff are brilliant - all of them from managers to cleaners, nothing is too much trouble. Thank you.

This is the best care home in Derbyshire/Nottinghamshire for care/cleanliness/everything, and I wouldn't hesitate to come back again if need be.

The quality of care is excellent. I have visited for two years and always find the staff to be very attentive and caring. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff who are very caring and supportive.

When looking for a place urgently for my mum I found the staff extremely helpful and accommodating in sorting this for our family.
Whilst my mum has been here she has been really well looked after with amazing staff. Facilities are very good and she has thoroughly enjoyed her time here and made
some great friends

As a volunteer at this care home, I am truly honoured to be part of such a wonderful community. The environment is not only beautiful but also safe and welcoming. I have the privilege of working alongside a team of dedicated and compassionate staff who go above and beyond to care for the residents.
The residents themselves are delightful, and their warmth and kindness create a sense of family within the home. The supportive atmosphere and the strong sense of camaraderie make this an exceptional place to volunteer. This experience has enriched my life, and I am grateful to contribute to a place that genuinely cares for its people.

1st and only care home I have experienced, but I find it very, very good.
Food can be iffy, but accommodation and care by the staff is excellent.
It is clean and cared for and all requests from me to staff have been taken seriously.

I have been a resident at Belvedere House for 18 months now and I can say that during that time I have found everything to be very special. The members of staff have been wonderfully caring and friendly. All the rooms are very well cared for by excellent cleaners and hygiene is top rank! A location
like this would make anyone living here very appreciative of the loving care they receive.

My mum was the first resident in Belvedere House when it first opened. From that day to the present day, she has been looked after, cared for and given love by the staff of this home, her needs have always been met with dignity and kindness. I and my family have no concerns at all about our mum
living at Belvedere, from which we would advise anyone thinking about short or long stay in a care home to visit others in the area and then visit Belvedere, there is no comparison in quality and comfort.

Our mum has been a resident of Belvedere Care home since the first day of opening. The staff are excellent with their professional care, compassion and love for each resident and their individual needs.
The home itself is purpose-built, very comfortable, warm and inviting. Each room is equipped
with en suite facilities and individual thermostats enabling each resident to have their heating just as they like it.
There is regularly (each day) a varied and interesting programme of activities and interests with many professional entertainers visiting.
Throughout the year there are various events eg. Summer BBQ, Christmas Fayre and Summer Fayre to which the public is always very welcome.
Mum is now going into her third year living at Belvedere and she could not have had better care and attention from anywhere else. She is happy, safe and very well cared for. We could not ask for more, the staff go that extra mile for everyone each day.

My mum has been a resident at Belvedere House Care Home since it first opened. During her stay, she has received excellent care from dedicated staff who always treat her with respect and dignity. Before my retirement, I worked as a GP in East Sussex visiting many residential care homes and in my
opinion, the standard of facilities, cleanliness and care at Belvedere House is among the best I have seen.

I feel so glad that Belvedere House staff are caring for both my parents. All the staff do everything they can to understand each of them and arrange things like beds, crockery, alarms, activities and food accordingly. The respect for each person is genuine, whenever I visit, the staff share tales
of what they have been up to. I get excellent updates and I am really impressed by the ideas and ways staff come up with to make being at Belvedere the best life for residents they can.
