I am so pleased with the care that Dad is getting. We can relax now that we know he's safe and getting good care and stimulation. He is looking so much better than before he came in here. Lovely facilities and staff.

Dad has been so well looked after during his respite time. All the staff have made him and our family welcome and feel part of the Belvedere family. The house has a 5-star feel, elegant and spotless, and the food has been very nice according to Dad. The carers have always made time to listen to any queries or concerns I have had regarding Dad's health and addressed them. We are very grateful as a family.

What a relief to have found this wonderful home for my dad. The staff are so friendly and efficient; nothing is too much trouble. The home is more like a hotel with tasteful decor and a relaxing outdoor space. The food is nutritious and is presented in a way to tempt residents to eat. The activities coordinator is lovely, happy and tries to accommodate everyone.

Overall Experience

The care that my mother-in-law has received from Belvedere House has been excellent. The change in her has been remarkable, wearing smart clothes and jewellery. She was very isolated and lonely at home, but now sees more people and is starting to integrate. The care workers are exceptional and must have been selected by a caring management team. She has joined in some of the activities and was made to feel very special when a residents party was organised to celebrate her birthday. We have been informed when medical care has been required and know that we can trust all the staff to take good care of her. In her first week, she sat outside in the sunshine, something she hasn't done for years.

I came to Belvedere for respite after a total knee replacement at the hospital. I can truthfully say it is a wonderful home, especially the front of house! The staff - all so caring, professional, from management, carers, cleaners, handyman and (one) of the most excellent chefs. I am so grateful to all - thank you.

Overall Experience

My mother was transferred to Belvedere House from hospital, and as soon as she arrived was treated with the utmost care and dignity. She had always been adamant that she would not go into care, but her eyes have been opened, and she is enjoying her stay so far. She has help when she needs it and doesn't have to worry about anything. All of the staff have been wonderful, going out of their way to make her feel comfortable and cared for. This has also had a significant effect upon my sister and our families as it has reduced the worry involved of having to care for an elderly relative who has been living alone without outside support for almost thirty years since my father died. Thank you.

After three week's experience, I found the staff very helpful and generous of their time. They don't mind what time of day you ring. I do not take part in any activities because I find it difficult to get about without my trolley.
