Very clean care home, great staff all working very hard! My mum is very well looked after in this place, good food and lots of activities for her to take part in. Trips and outings arranged for her as well as the local hairdresser who comes in to make her feel great!

On arrival my mum and I were made very welcome, reassured that our loved one was going to be fine. Its the first experience we both have had on this very difficult decision, as our loved one would be left and we would walk away. All of our very many questions were answered carefully with ease, compassion
and again reassurance. We were made a coffee and was allowed to spend as much time, settling our loved one into his lovely room. I feel much better leaving him there than I did this morning preparing him for the next chapter of his life! Thank you.

My mum has been in Clarence house for 2 years now in which time she has been treated with respect and dignity, The care she has received is excellent she is much happier and healthier from when she was living alone

Always find the staff approachable and caring towards my aunt. I never let the home know when I am visiting and they are always welcoming and able to provide information when asked.
At the moment the access to the second floor isn't ideal eg via the laundry and only a lift but my aunt is safe, clean,
cared for and likes the staff which is all I want for her.

There has been time when we have not been informed of falls and staff haven't always been pleasant when asked about things relating to medication if we don't agree with the care home about the care they provide they get very standoffish and don't like it they do get a lot right but it's the other things
that lets them down they need to communicate with the residents families.

Thanks to the thoughtful plan for mum moving into her new room, I and staff have noticed great improvement with mum all round. The staff are always busy but there's always someone available for a quick word. Everywhere around the care home is really clean. The staff are really friendly and helpful and
empathetic. Sewing names into belongings is advisable as understandably laundry has a busy job to reunite items with their owners. Mum continues to enjoy a great variety of choice for her meal times and the food and drinks are really good. So happy mum is safe and secure as I live elsewhere in the country and get limited quality time with mum. Big thank you to all the team.

Both our parents are residents at Clarence House, both with different needs. We feel that the care they receive is good, most of the staff are very professional and are friendly and can update you and relevant information.
They have a residents meeting every month and one for the family so if you
have any concerns or your loved ones do they can be voiced here.
The rooms are being updated at the moment.

The care and dedication given to my mum at Clarence House is second to none. She is really well cared for and looked after by all the staff at all levels. I feel confident with my mum being in their care. It's often the little things that matter and make all the difference, such as the way the cleaner
takes care of my mum's room, watering the plants, making sure her chair is facing the tv, her table has a couple of her chocolates out, to mention just a few things. The catering staff will go out of their way to ensure she has the food she likes all that is made from scratch. The carers take the time to ensure she is comfortable and helps her to drink etc. The management are approachable listen to you and take action if required. Thank you Clarence House.

My husband as been in Clarence House for the last 3 months and as been well looked after and cared for. As I live quite away, I am not able to visit him as much but I know his is in good hands and being cared for well. The staff work very hard and sometimes there is not enough of them but they still
try to look after everybody. His room is cleaned every day and he is always clean in his self. Although their choice of clothes is not what I would dress him in, but they are his own clothes and not somebody else.

In the time that I have been visiting my friend, I have seen such hard work from the care staff and nurses. They are so dedicated to giving their best I take my hat off to them. The food is very good and the home is always so clean and well organized. The manager is approachable and understanding and
is always around to deal with any difficulties. My friend's room is always clean and well organized and I am very happy to see my friend so well looked after.
Only one small gripe that I had was that on occasions there didn't seem to be enough staff on duty especially at mealtimes where people had to wait for some time before being served. Having said that the staff worked wonders to get everyone seated and served. Great to see!

Absolutely outstanding care, fabulous team proving high quality care with empathy and respect. The rooms are bright, clean and comfortable and the food is excellent.

My mum was in Clarence House Care Home until her passing earlier this month. Words cannot express how wonderful the staff were. And the wonder carers, who to them nothing was too much trouble! Every time you visited all the residents were being engaged in activities such as dancing or games.

All the staff are caring and cheerful, keep me informed with Mum's progress, answer all my questions and reassure my concerns.

It's been convenient for myself to see my husband as the home is only down the road. It's early so far however, I found all the staff to be very helpful and have looked after my husband well. The food has been nice and overall I have had a positive experience.

My grandma is a relatively new resident to Clarence House Care Home and although she found the initial prospect of coming into a residential home daunting, the staff have done everything possible to make her feel happy and welcome.
Nothing is too much trouble, they’re all friendly, kind and as well
as settling Gran’s reservations they also settled ours. A big thank you to all staff - your support has been very much appreciated during a challenging time!
