Clarence House Care Home is a very warm and welcoming care home with helpful staff. Staff are willing to go out of their way to help with any questions and facilitate. Thank you for your warmth and care. It would be good to see more news on all the lovely things happening.

My mum went into Clarence House Care Home after having a serious stroke. The staff there have been fantastic, always making sure my mum is happy and settled. Her room is always nice and clean and the cleaners always have a chat with her when cleaning her room. The home itself is beautiful and welcoming.
I would recommend Clarence House to anyone who is having to put a loved one in a home, knowing they will be well looked after.

Mum's transition into care was emotionally difficult for both her and the family, however, the team at Clarence House have been thoughtful, caring and considerate during this time and since. Mum now seems settled, and looks well cared for and after seeing the team in action I know she is safe and well
looked after. Nothing is too much trouble, they help mum with her mobile phone when needed, they answer any questions we have promptly and keep us updated as and when needed. It's a great relief for the family that Mum is in Clarence House. A big thank you to all the team for giving Mum the care she needs, you are very much appreciated.

Mum went to Clarence House during the covid pandemic so visiting has been difficult. A few nice touches on admission being informed mum had arrived and later the same evening to say she had settled were greatly appreciated. The staff have always been available to answer my numerous questions and offer
reassurance. They have assisted her to contact us via her mobile phone and facilitated window visits.

My mum was moved from another care home to Clarence House right in the middle of the first lockdown of the Covid pandemic. During that time we have been able to see her through a window and I have been very pleased with how safe she and the other residents have been kept in relation to Covid. As I live
100 miles away, I have also been very impressed how Clarence House staff have made it possible for me to see Mum at fairly short notice.
In the last few weeks, I have been able to actually be in the same room with Mum and I’ve had three lovely visits. She looks very well cared for, without a hairdresser they have made a lovely effort with her hair and her skin looks to be in very good condition. She has also being on good form on these visits and seems to be happy as well – I too am very happy with the care Clarence House has been giving to my mum. A year down the line, she seems on far better form that she did in her previous care home.

My mother has been a resident at Clarence House for over two years. She soon settled and it became clear she was well cared for. I have never worried about her.
This was also the case over the last year while we had the pandemic. Although I could only see her through a glass window I could see she
was safe, healthy and well cared for. I was never overly worried about her.
When I look back, this says so much about the carers and staff. They have been wonderful. I can’t praise them enough. Caring is difficult at the best of times but with the pandemic so much harder for everyone.
Two weeks ago I saw my mum face to face. It was lovely to actually be with her and hold her hands and I could see she was as well as I thought she would be.
I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone at Clarence House not only for looking after my mum but for the care and kindness shown to everyone there. They are in safe hands.

I went to visit my aunt in the visiting pod. This was well organised by an appointment system. The pod is very clean, staff are very accommodating and brought my aunt to the closed door. In the circumstances, this is well done. Let us hope we can get back to some normality soon and enjoy visits and

I would highly recommend Clarence House to friends and family. Residents are treated with dignity. All staff that I have met deal promptly with any issues, queries that are asked of them. Nothing is too much trouble no matter how busy they are.

They did care too, each member of staff considered my grandad a friend. They looked after him like he was a member of their family.

Clarence house looked after my Grandad for a short period of time at the end of his life, they always made sure he was provided with the utmost dignity and cared for him the same way I would. My grandad was a fussy eater and would only eat pudding but they were amazing and always catered to this, they
went above and beyond. Some of the staff were so caring and put us at ease when we had to go, the nurses did all they could to make sure his last moments were comfortable and dignified. Thank you all for the care you gave, it is much appreciated.

Having looked after my husband for several years, his general health and dementia had deteriorated to such an extent that I was forced to admit that I could not do this any longer. I was very anxious about him going into care but need not have worried. Everyone at Clarence House really cares for the
residents and they all go the extra mile to make them and their families feel at home and loved. It is such a relief not to have to worry about his medical conditions and keeping him safe from falls. I am always welcome and now enjoy being his wife not his overstressed carer, constantly on duty.

When entering the home the welcome you get is very good and all the staff are very friendly and helpful.The staff always seem to have time to talk to you about who you have come to see ,always plenty to eat and drink know matter what time of day or night it is. Thanks to the team especially the management at Clarence House, my father was transferred to the care home swiftly. The care home was very accommodating, friendly and welcoming. Not only they cared for my father but also they looked after us. We were even offered a room to stay overnight if we wanted
to. I am so glad that my father spent the remaining few days of his life in peace in a lovely, clean and homely environment. I do believe that the team went above and beyond to provide their service. The management visited us on daily basis, comforted us and made sure everything was going well. We were also offered refreshments and sandwiches anytime we visited. These are only a few points to tell you how thoughtful and caring staff at Clarence House are and I would highly recommend anyone who is looking to find a care home for a loved one, to consider Clarence House, as they are the best of the best!
