My sister in law stayed here for a respite. The staff did their utmost best to make her feel at home and happy. The warm atmosphere of the care home makes you feel at home, from the activities and the tasty food that is provided on daily basis without fail to the nicely decorated bedrooms and living
room and the excellent staff of the care home.
When you are there, you can see that everyone enjoys doing their job. The staff try their best to engage and get to know everyone. My sister in law had a really good experience and I would like to say that if you have to choose a care home for respite or permanent living, Clarence house would be one of the best that you can consider.

My friend has been in Clarence House for years and absolutely loves it. The home is always doing activities with all the residents which include painting, making pictures, bingo, entertainment, karaoke, regular weekly coffee mornings and visits from the ice cream man. My friend is always clean and presentable,
her hair is done every week and her nails are painted. I would highly recommend Clarence House.

The care that my friend receives is second to none. He has just been moved to a lovely room on the ground floor where there is a lot more going on and I think that this is doing him the world of good. He seems a lot better in himself.
The nursing care he receives is excellent and the staff make you
feel at home offering refreshments on entry, it is a lot better than the care home my late mother was in.
When I attended, a World Cup match was on the large TV and all the staff and residents were enjoying the celebrations and asked me to join in.
All in all, it was a very good atmosphere. Keep up the good work, 5 stars.

I am a resident at Clarence House since November 2017. I think you can't grumble about the care in here and I think the care is generally good. I get on very well with all the carers and the manager and assistant manager. It feels like a home. My family and friends are coming regularly and enjoy visiting
them in the reception area. I have no concerns since I am living in here.
My stepdaughter would like to decorate the room to my own taste which has been allowed by the home.

My mother has Vascular Dementia among other things, and was very unsettled and agitated when she first entered care because she wanted to be at home. Unfortunately it became totally impossible for me to continue as her carer at home due to her deteriorating condition, which needed expert management.
But the staff soon made her feel comfortable and settled, and she is now very happy and content with her new surroundings. The manager and her team work well together in the interests of all the residents, despite some of them being a challenge due to their physical and/or mental health debilities. I am completely satisfied with the care that my mother is now receiving at Clarence House.

My father spent his last few weeks at Clarence House. All the staff were excellent, from care staff to administrative and ancillary staff through to the management team. I have visited a wide range of care homes in various capacities over the years and none of them have been better than Clarence House
in terms of the quality of care offered.

A lovely, friendly place for anyone to live, extremely clean and the food is amazing. After having to make this very difficult decision to put our mum into a care home, we have felt that she is safe and secure.
I would definitely recommend this home to anyone. Thank you for caring for our mum, we

I worked for Royal Mail for 34 years and delivered to many nursing/residential homes and I can honestly say that this is the best home I have seen and been into. My wife is a nurse and a former carer and I think it is better than the one even she worked in.

Mum has resided at this home since 2012 and has always been very well cared for. The staff are welcoming and have been very supportive during the difficult times due to Mum's health. The management have implemented many improvements to the home over the years which have been beneficial to residents,

I am extremely happy with the care my mum receives. All of the staff are caring and helpful and do their utmost to help whilst being able to maintain a sense of humour at the same time, which I feel is important and they treat my mum with dignity at all times. The meals are fantastic and my mum really
enjoys them. The home is always very clean and tidy. There are also plenty of activities going on to keep the residents occupied. I would have no hesitation in recommending this care home.

Mum loves the place, she has been in Highgrove for a number of years and knows everyone loves her too. Lovely activities lady who is so bubbly and pleasant and takes mum to the shops which she really enjoys. She also has her hair done every week and someone comes in every week to do exercises with them.
Lovely staff and manager. Keep up the good work.

My wife of sixty years has been in Highgrove Manor Care Home since 2012. Initially, some problems but adequately dealt with. Since that time and I visit regularly I can say that year on year Highgrove has progressively got better.
The staff and management are extremely pleasant and helpful in every
way. In particular dealing with my wife's health problems. I couldn't wish for my wife to be elsewhere

Over the last six months, Mum has improved her movement in both her arms and legs. This has improved due to the exercise classes she attends alongside the other service user. The lady doing the classes is doing an excellent job.


Mum has attended a couple of outdoor activities which have been excellent

for her eg seaside and the theatre. Knowing in advance that she is going on these activities helps stimulate her mind, talking about it when we visit.
