My mum has been with Clarance House (through Alzheimers and Dementia) since March 2024. She has always appeared to us as healthy and well looked after. She always comments the staff are friendly, and nothing is too much trouble for them. She enjoys the food in the restraunt and has made some friends
through the interactive activities she plays with other residents driven by the staff. They also take them on occasion visits out, the latest been Cusworth Park for the day. The rooms are always clean and cleaning is on show daily, in fact it's hard to remember a single visit in which cleaning was not taking place. They have a hairdresser come into the home, which my mum loves, to allow her to still feel pride in her appearance. Honestly, for the money - it's incredible value compared to other homes at double the rate and above.

Care home is very clean .comfortable room .all staff from cleaners to carers and reception kitchen staff are all very friendly and professional in what they do but at same time they treat me and my family like friends and address by our names .they take good care of residents. This last year been
hard on family but the care quality made us know we made the right decision .thank you to all the staff

The care my aunt gets is second to none in my opinion. And long may it last . But the system in place to pay the care homes are very slow and no fault to the care home, for instance I was not granted depurdyships for
1 year why.

I have been to visit this lady two times. The mansion and staff are great. The lady is looking at lot better now she in in the care home, this is the best care home I have ever visited. Friendly, helpful and understanding. Thank you.

My mum and her close friend have both been resident at Clarence House Care Home for 6 months, they are both completely happy and have no complaints whatsoever. The home and rooms are kept spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable. The food is outstanding. They both constantly tell me they want for
nothing. All the staff deserve a big pat on the back, their professionalism, kindness and care go above and beyond. I have no hesitation in giving 5 stars and recommending Clarence House to anyone who might have any doubts.

When visiting I always receive a friendly greeting from everyone I meet
Clarence House displays a warm and convivial atmosphere for which credit must be given to Staff at all.levels whose efforts are worthy of compliment

Much improved since we started visiting my sister in law a few years ago .
The best visit with her and she looks well cared for .
Staff are polite and kind .
We will call again and look forward to seeing she has had same level of care

The care team are attentive and caring in all there tasks throughout mums needs. Helped to settle mum from her first arriving onto her new ward a few months ago. All around the carehome is always clean tidy and homely. Mum enjoys fresh cookd dinners and all her meal times so much so that she
continus to put on much needed weight.A good menu variety is always provided. With all the hard work the staff do mum is happy settled and safe. The staff keep me informd when needed and are patient kind polite and supportive.As i dont live in the area i can only get in person when time allows but its a big re assurance mum is in safe hands.Thankyou team for all their hard work.

On arrival my mum and I were made very welcome, reassured that our loved one was going to be fine. Its the first experience we both have had on this very difficult decision, as our loved one would be left and we would walk away. All of our very many questions were answered carefully with ease,
compassion and again reassurance. We were made a coffee and was allowed to spend as much time, settling our loved one into his lovely room. I feel much better leaving him there than I did this morning preparing him for the next chapter of his life! Thank you.

My mum has been in Clarence house for 2 years now in which time she has been treated with respect and dignity, The care she has received is excellent she is much happier and healthier from when she was living alone

Always find the staff approachable and caring towards my aunt. I never let the home know when I am visiting and they are always welcoming and able to provide information when asked.
At the moment the access to the second floor isn't ideal eg via the laundry and only a lift but my aunt is safe,
clean, cared for and likes the staff which is all I want for her.

There has been time when we have not been informed of falls and staff haven't always been pleasant when asked about things relating to medication if we don't agree with the care home about the care they provide they get very standoffish and don't like it they do get a lot right but it's the other
things that lets them down they need to communicate with the residents families.

Both our parents are residents at Clarence House, both with different needs. We feel that the care they receive is good, most of the staff are very professional and are friendly and can update you and relevant information.
They have a residents meeting every month and one for the family so if you
have any concerns or your loved ones do they can be voiced here.
The rooms are being updated at the moment.

All staff and facilities are professional, caring and friendly. Highly satisfied with the care that my mother-in-law is receiving and my wife and I are very pleased that we have chosen Clarance House.

The care and dedication given to my mum at Clarence House is second to none. She is really well cared for and looked after by all the staff at all levels. I feel confident with my mum being in their care. It's often the little things that matter and make all the difference, such as the way the
cleaner takes care of my mum's room, watering the plants, making sure her chair is facing the tv, her table has a couple of her chocolates out, to mention just a few things. The catering staff will go out of their way to ensure she has the food she likes all that is made from scratch. The carers take the time to ensure she is comfortable and helps her to drink etc. The management are approachable listen to you and take action if required. Thank you Clarence House.

My husband as been in Clarence House for the last 3 months and as been well looked after and cared for. As I live quite away, I am not able to visit him as much but I know his is in good hands and being cared for well. The staff work very hard and sometimes there is not enough of them but they still
try to look after everybody. His room is cleaned every day and he is always clean in his self. Although their choice of clothes is not what I would dress him in, but they are his own clothes and not somebody else.

In the time that I have been visiting my friend, I have seen such hard work from the care staff and nurses. They are so dedicated to giving their best I take my hat off to them. The food is very good and the home is always so clean and well organized. The manager is approachable and understanding
and is always around to deal with any difficulties. My friend's room is always clean and well organized and I am very happy to see my friend so well looked after.
Only one small gripe that I had was that on occasions there didn't seem to be enough staff on duty especially at mealtimes where people had to wait for some time before being served. Having said that the staff worked wonders to get everyone seated and served. Great to see!

Absolutely outstanding care, fabulous team proving high quality care with empathy and respect. The rooms are bright, clean and comfortable and the food is excellent.
Extremely happy with my husband's stay for respite and he will be back.
