Clarendon House Care Home

Had reservations about my husband going into a care home We were agreeably surprised by the standard of care friendliness of all staff and approachable management It was a much smoother transition than we expected I feel my husbands is well cared for physically and he seems quite content Any niggles we may have had when mentioned to staff are dealt with immediately

It's nice to know my mum is looked after well and is safe.

Mum has been a resident here for almost four years and throughout that time she has been treated with kindness, dignity and genuine compassion. The staff are caring, attentive and always take the time to understand her needs. The management team are approachable and supportive, and communication with the family is excellent. Knowing Mum is safe, happy and so well looked after gives us tremendous peace of mind. We are extremely grateful to everyone at the home and would highly recommend it to other families.

Good secure site for residents, room good size. Everything available for the needs. Staff very helpful and friendly. Site very well kept and presented.Good view from roof top and some rooms across Buckingham.

We are very happy with the Day Care given to my husband (7 days a week). It is the best care home in Buckingham. All the staff are happy to help in any way. I know my husband is well cared for.

The care home has really helped Dad adapt to his new life. The team are warm, friendly and very caring. They work with every resident individually, but they always try to keep everyone entertained and looked after. The entertainments are varied and in just a few months Dad has been to Pantomime, a concert and there's even been wine tasting! Thank you to everyone!

My mother moved into Clarendon House at the end of September 2025 to be nearer to me and because she needed more care than in her own home and we have not been disappointed. The manager and assistant manager are caring, friendly and professional and the carers who look after my mother are kind, patient and knowledgeable. Other support staff, food, drinks and activities are thoughtful and kind. I cannot be more delighted with everything in this care home.

My elderly Dad was in for over a week in his last day. The staff (all) were brilliant and can't thank them enough. Theodore and Sorin were brilliant as were Michelle and Jane. Thank you John & Family.

We couldn't be more grateful for the care our nan receives at Clarendon House. The staff are absolutely lovely-warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. It's clear how much effort they put into making the home a welcoming and comfortable place. Nan is always well looked after, and there's never a shortage of activities to keep her engaged and happy. My brothers and I are very happy with the level of care being shown to our elderly mother after her recent fall, and neurological problems. Clarendon House also show this care to our father, who has Alzheimer's, and welcome him for lunch every day. Whilst it is very challenging having both parents with dementia/alzheimers, the staff make it an easier task, and visiting our parents can be more like visiting old friends at a lovely hotel. The staff are kind, efficient, and friendly. The Manager is a most reassuring constant for us, and we feel we can approach her about anything. There is a great variety of activities arranged every day for residents, and the catering facilities are fabulous - it is lovely to see both my parents enjoying the delicious food.

The ambience and decor of Clarendon House make it a lovely place for my mother to live in and for us to visit her. She has a spacious room, and she dines in style in one of several restaurants. The nursing and care staff are dedicated and motivated, whilst the management team are first class, responsive and on top of all aspects and quality of service.

This has been a wonderful environment for me to heal from a broken shoulder. Calm & peaceful.

My father was in the care of Clarendon House for his last 2-5 years. We were very happy with the quality of care from both staff and management. We couldn't have wished more for his comfort and dignity.

Dad was not keen to be in a care home but quickly settled and enjoyed his time there. He become a keen advocate of Clarendon right up until he passed away suddenly at 98 yo. We were very pleased with all aspects at Clarendon plus it was convenient for visiting. My father in law was also a resident. Really good caring service.

They have looked after my sister very well.

Mum was in Clarendon for 16 months, having developed dementia Clarendon House was a fabulous place for her where she was looked after very caringly by the staff who made her transition from her own home to care home much easier. There were plenty of activities for her to get involved in and fabulous meals every day. In her last three months, Mum deteriorated and became bedbound and unable to feed herself. The patience and kindness shown to her right to the end by all the staff was second to none and equally they were great support to visiting family. More like a five-star hotel than a care home, with all the care as a bonus.
