Clarendon House is located in the heart of Buckingham town centre, close to amenities and at the centre of the community. With care and support facilities being taken to a new level, a real ‘Home from Home'.

The home offers a luxurious environment with a range of superb features and facilities where residents can find a vibrant community and enjoy a busy and active lifestyle, or can chose that relaxing, quiet and tranquil setting alongside the river and park, on the door step.

Clarendon House has 61 spacious, Classic or Premium bedrooms to choose from, all with en-suite wet rooms and tastefully designed and furnished with Wi-Fi access throughout. From the Stow Garden café and bar, you access the beautiful roof top terrace, where you can sit and enjoy a beverage of your choice. A private dining room is available to residents and families wanting to celebrate their loved ones birthdays or a special occasion.

Other facilities include Chandos Cinema, Waterlily Hair Salon, Snowdrop treatment room where you can relax and enjoy a bit of papering. On the ground floor, the Thompson Bar and Bistro has fresh cakes made daily by the experienced catering team.

Clarendon House has three floors of accommodation
Candleford Suite - Situated on the ground floor where residents are able to socialise with likeminded company and build and maintain friendships. Secure in the knowledge that there is 24-hour care and support to maintain independence.
Charters Suite - The memory impairment facility providing accommodation that has been tastefully and sympathetically designed to offer a safe, secure and stimulating environment for people who may have varying degrees of memory impairment.
Juniper Hill Suite - Comprises of well-appointed bedrooms all with en-suite where residents may have nursing requirements. For those residents who wish to have a little more room there are two superior suites available on this floor.

We couldn't be more grateful for the care our nan receives at Clarendon House. The staff are absolutely lovely-warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. It's clear how much effort they put into making the home a welcoming and comfortable place. Nan is always well looked after, and there's never a shortage
of activities to keep her engaged and happy. It's such a comfort to know she's in such good hands. Thank you to everyone at Clarendon House!

My brothers and I are very happy with the level of care being shown to our elderly mother after her recent fall, and neurological problems. Clarendon House also show this care to our father, who has Alzheimer's, and welcome him for lunch every day. Whilst it is very challenging having both parents with
dementia/alzheimers, the staff make it an easier task, and visiting our parents can be more like visiting old friends at a lovely hotel. The staff are kind, efficient, and friendly. The Manager is a most reassuring constant for us, and we feel we can approach her about anything. There is a great variety of activities arranged every day for residents, and the catering facilities are fabulous - it is lovely to see both my parents enjoying the delicious food.

The ambience and decor of Clarendon House make it a lovely place for my mother to live in and for us to visit her. She has a spacious room, and she dines in style in one of several restaurants. The nursing and care staff are dedicated and motivated, whilst the management team are first class, responsive
and on top of all aspects and quality of service.

Dad was not keen to be in a care home but quickly settled and enjoyed his time there. He become a keen advocate of Clarendon right up until he passed away suddenly at 98 yo. We were very pleased with all aspects at Clarendon plus it was convenient for visiting. My father in law was also a resident.

Having never had the need to find a nursing home, I was amazed at how wonderful Clarendon House is. My dad, sadly, wasn't there for long, but the relief he/we felt for him to be out of hospital and somewhere comfortable, safe and where he was treated with the utmost care and dignity was profound.
I
know he was very much looking forward to going up onto the roof terrace for a nice cup of tea and a biscuit, a simple thing that he hadn't had the chance to do after being in hospital for three months, it was something the nurses knew would make him feel more at home and realise he still had the freedom to do whatever he wanted, he was in no way confined to a single room.
As you can tell, I would recommend Clarendon House in a heartbeat for anyone looking for first class care for their relative, whether it's for residential, nursing like dad required, or dementia.
Thank you to all the staff (and residents) for all their kindness, it was really appreciated.

Mum was in Clarendon for 16 months, having developed dementia Clarendon House was a fabulous place for her where she was looked after very caringly by the staff who made her transition from her own home to care home much easier. There were plenty of activities for her to get involved in and fabulous
meals every day. In her last three months, Mum deteriorated and became bedbound and unable to feed herself. The patience and kindness shown to her right to the end by all the staff was second to none and equally they were great support to visiting family. More like a five-star hotel than a care home, with all the care as a bonus.

Clarendon House is to be highly recommended!
My uncle has been well looked after since his arrival. He is fed and watered throughout the day and receives his medication as required.
The music piped through into the communal lounge has been a real plus ensuring that he has a reason to get out of his
room. The outside terraces have yet to be explored but will be a welcome beautiful in the summer months.

Clarendon House is an excellent care home. The home has been beautifully designed and furnished, but still feels like ‘a home’. From the moment we entered, we were made to feel welcome. The whole team, from office staff to carers are polite, friendly and caring and ready to respond to any questions
and requirements. Bedrooms are spacious, communal areas tastefully decorated and comfortable. Everywhere is immaculately clean. The menus change daily, with an excellent choice of food, made with quality ingredients, but residents are also able to make any special requests. There is a daily activity programme and residents are encouraged to take part.
We cannot recommend Clarendon House highly enough. My mother stayed for 2 weeks for some respite care after a fall and the residential wing was perfect for her. We would like to thank all the staff at Clarendon for looking after her.

Mum has been at Clarendon House for two years, her care has been fabulous. Mum's dementia has her steadily getting worse but her care has been adapted to meet her needs. She is always treated with dignity and care. She is well looked after. The staff, including management, care staff and office, are

From the very start, the staff at Clarendon House have been exceptional. They explained the process clearly and gave a full tour on our first visit. Dad now visits the home twice a week for day care. The staff clearly, always put Dad's health and safety above all else and his comfort. The support network
I have (as Dad's main carer) and Dad has, enables us both to have respite safely and comfortably, without worry, which is paramount. Dad and I are always made to feel welcome!

The care my mum and I received was fantastic. The staff were always helpful and friendly. I would recommend Clarendon House care home to friends and family.
I would like to thank Clarendon House for looking after my mum so well albeit a short stay in the end. Food was exceptional as was the accommodation
