My wife attended the day care service at Claremont House Beverley from early May until late August 25.
Claremont House has wonderful facilities and the staff are truly excellent. All the care staff went over and above any expectations I may have had, offering truly wonderful care and attention to
my wife.
My wife was always smiling when I dropped her off and still smiling when I picked her up again it meant a lot to me knowing she had been happy during her stay.
I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Claremont House Beverley to anyone who needs their loved one to be cared for.

My husband and I viewed Claremont House along with other Care Homes as we needed to ensure that we would make the right decision for my dad who is 95 and terminally ill. On being met at the door and receiving a very warm welcome we were so impressed with the interior of the home, the layout, the cleanliness,
the facilities and the beautiful decor. During our tour we saw residents and staff interacting and the whole feeling was one of warmth, care, respect, empathy and enjoyment. We both knew that this was the place where we wanted him to spend the latter stage of his life.He has settled in very well and the staff are so encouraging and thoughtful, they care. He hadn't been eating properly both at home and in hospital but he really loves the food in Claremont House and is looking better. In his words he said "It is proper home cooking, the best". He also told us that he feels safe and looked after which is exactly how we want him to feel. Thank you to everyone, from the family.

I came into the home for 2 weeks of respite care whilst my son & daughter-in-law took a holiday. I have found the staff & care I have received here is first class. The staff have all been so caring and kind - I could not have asked for more. They have all looked after me so well, and the food has been

Claremont provided a VE Day Celebration for its residents that was second to none. It was heartwarming to see the residents dancing and singing. They provided a fabulous buffet and even had a pipe. All the staff were dressed in 1940s clothes. I just feel that the home went above and beyond. The biggest
compliment I can give is that I am so glad and reassured that my mum is a resident there. The staff are amazing. Thank you.

I have been a care manager now retired. I find this home well managed, staff are very friendly standard of care is good. The only thing that would improve the home would be a garden. As this is a most as it will help with stimulation. Once garden done I would highly recommend.

My wife is here due to me not being able to care for her. I'm in recovery following liver resection.
Her stay here has been very enjoyable. She has been well cared for. We have tried to follow her existing timetable attending classes outside of the care home. The home has accommodated my wife's existing
timetable by providing packed lunches. We provided taxis to take my wife to the classes.
The meals are of excellent quality and a bar area allows residents and visitors hot and cold drinks with small snacks available.
I joined my wife for an excellent Sunday lunch at a small cost.

My mum had spent two weeks in hospital recovering from fluid retention as a result of heart failure. She was very poorly so we needed a transitional respite home before she went home as we needed her to feel confident and gain strength. Upon contacting Claremont all staff were incredible. They were
wholeheartedly there for my mum and all of us. Their warmth, understanding, support and positivity put us all instantly at ease. We can't thank Claremont enough, the place is magnificent. My mum stayed for two weeks and returned home a stronger, more confident person. Thank you so much.

After a shaky start with mum not wanting to stay, the staff made her feel welcome and relaxed. Offered her a different room to help her settle and then brought in a cup of tea. Staff also made the family feel welcome and always providing us with feedback of mums care. Always reassuring and caring to

A really pleasant and friendly care home which I came across by chance after my wife was transferred from hospital after a stroke.
At the present time she is immobile so needs hoists etc.

My brother and I visited Claremont House at the end of August this year looking for a care home for our mother who had been in hospital for several weeks and had become increasingly frail as she approached her 90th year. Claremont House became our first choice and we are pleased with the care our mother
is receiving - she has improved in her wellbeing and seems to be settling in now with the staff who are all very friendly and residents who she has now made friends with. Claremont is a bright, clean, friendly place for our mother and she is made to feel it's her home now, as it is when we visit her. Thank you for the care it gives.

My father has been in Claremont House for six years now. My mum was a resident too, but sadly passed away in May 2023.
I cannot speak highly enough of all the staff. The carers, office staff, and management have all been extremely supportive in some very difficult and upsetting situations. Their kindness,
even when they're very busy, is faultless.
I would highly recommend Claremont House.

The overall care Mum received, has been excellent. Mum was treated and supported with dignity and respect. The kindness Mum and our family received was gratifying and reassuring. Claremont House has such a friendly and welcoming atmosphere that we always felt 'at home' ourselves. The care was tailored
to Mim's individual needs and therefore effective. Any concerns about Mum's health were acted upon quickly and medical; assistance was sought when required. I would highly recommend Claremont to anyone considering residential care.

I can highly recommend Claremont House Care Home for the kindness and respect shown to the residents.
The times we have asked the staff to make various changes to enhance the comfort and personal needs of my mother have been met with a very prompt and polite response.
We are very happy with the professionalism
of the staff and their caring attitude towards the residents. It is plain to see that my mother is happy and willing to join in the various daily activities available to her.
It is a lovely, bright and homely place, and we are highly delighted.

All the staff was very welcoming to Mum and her family. Claremont is a very clean and tidy home. Mum has settled well and the staff seem to love her. Since being in the home they have managed to get her to have her hair done and have progressed with her personal care.

I can't speak highly enough of Claremont House. The staff and management are lovely and work hard to ensure the needs of residents are met with respect and dignity and always a smile. Due to the changing needs of my mother-in-law, we have had to explore alternate placement options. Claremont House has

Mum continues to be very comfortable and well looked after. The staff are quick to respond when there have been any medical issues and follow through with health care professionals.
All the staff are professional and more importantly friendly and caring.
There are times when the home appears understaffed
but those who are in work hard to try to maintain the level of care.
I feel that Mum’s room would benefit from a decor update although this is only cosmetic.
The recent increase in fees was a bit of a shock - I hope to see that some of this will go towards
A) investing in the staff
B) upgrading some of the decor
C) more social events for the residents
Overall Claremont is providing a comfortable and caring environment.

Thank you for your review and positive comments regarding our caring staff. We currently have a redecoration programme ongoing which Mum will benefit from in the near future. We work hard to ensure that our staffing levels are reflective of the resident's needs and our staff team are multi-skilled to work between floors. Our activity programme is varied and offers in-house activities daily in addition to weekly social community events which, we do try to ensure everyone has the opportunity to join in; hopefully Mum can benefit from one of these in the near future.

The care my brother is given as a permanent resident is always excellent and the rooms and food are complemented by him on our visits as he can no longer manage much of his basic needs without assistance.

I always feel comfortable when visiting my mother. The staff are friendly and cooperative and always greet you with a smile. They give you the choice of taking her to her bedroom or seeing her in the lounge.
With her having dementia it is difficult to communicate with my mother but the help of the
staff makes the experience far more enjoyable.
She always seems happy and well-dressed and is obviously well cared for.

My mother first stayed at Claremont House in October 2022 for two weeks and then became a permanent resident in February 2023.
This came about as follows, she lived in another area but was becoming more reliant on my assistance to remain there, not being ready to move into a care home she agreed to
move to where my wife and I live.
We soon learned of the onset of the early stages of Alzheimer’s and in addition, she deeply missed her circle of long-standing friends which is why she first visited Claremont House.
She cannot speak highly enough of Claremont House, the professional care and facilities provide everything she needs and want at this point in her life she is very happy.
