Gowrie House Care Home is a warm and welcoming 60-bed home in the heart of Kirkcaldy, offering high-quality Residential, Nursing, Dementia and Respite care. Our dedicated team plays a vital role in ensuring residents feel supported, comfortable, and truly at home.

We are now recruiting compassionate and reliable Night Care Assistants to join our friendly team. What We Offer

  • £12.70 per hour
  • Full-time or part-time contracts (minimum 22 hours per week)
  • Paid PVG, Pension scheme, Uniform provided
  • 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full-time contract)
  • Ongoing training and support, including the opportunity to complete SVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care

Your Role
As a Night Care Assistant, you will provide person-centred care and support to residents during the evening and night. You will help with personal care, mobility, mealtimes, hydration, and comfort checks, ensuring residents feel safe, valued, and supported. You will be a reassuring presence throughout the night and contribute to a calm, caring environment.
