Duties
- Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and preparing ingredients for cooking.
- Help with food preparation tasks, ensuring all items are ready for the cooking process.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitising surfaces.
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure all food is handled and stored correctly.
- Support chefs and cooks during service by providing timely assistance as needed.
- Participate in catering events as required, helping to set up and serve food.
- Assist with inventory management by checking stock levels and reporting any shortages.
Skills / Qualifications:
- Requirements Previous experience in a kitchen environment is advantageous but not essential; enthusiasm for culinary arts is key. Basic knowledge of food safety standards and practices is preferred. Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment
