Hours - 30 Hours per week, shifts vary between 8am-6pm on a rota basis, Alternative Weekends required
Salary - £14.60 per hour, paid monthly

About the Role and skills that you will need
An exciting opportunity exists to join our growing team.
The ideal applicant will have held a similar position within the healthcare sector and be able to produce high quality freshly cooked food for our residents whilst taking into consideration their dietary requirements.
You will lead the catering team alongside the Home Manager and take responsibility for ensuring the kitchen is in a clean and safe condition. The role requires you to place orders and create nutritious, flavoursome and well-balanced seasonal menu’s, actively working with residents to tailor menus around them and at the same time working towards managing costs sensibly.
Role responsibilities and requirements:
- To provide and deliver food and beverage to the highest standard
 - To prepare fresh, seasonal, traditional and speciality style menus from fresh ingredients
 - To keep the Manager informed of any issues concerning the management of the department
 - Implement and maintain statutory and company standards of hygiene, food safety and health and safety.
 - To order foodstuffs and supplies required to meet the service provision
 - Production of new menu cycles and themed menus
 - A ‘can do’ attitude
 - The ability to ensure temperature testing of foods and storage areas are carried out as required and accurate records are maintained
 - Possess strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a small team
