Job Role: Night Care Assistant - 36 hours per week - 8pm-8am

Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to individuals in a care home setting, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This role requires a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients through personalised support and assistance.

Duties

Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.

Support clients in following their care plans, ensuring that their individual needs are met.

Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in their condition.

Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.

Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in care practices.

Uphold the dignity and respect of all clients while providing empathetic support.

Administer medication when needed.

Skills

Proficient in English with excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.

Experience in a care home or home care setting is advantageous but not essential.

Familiarity with creating and following care plans to provide tailored support for each client.

Basic IT skills for maintaining records and documentation as required.
