Role Summary

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated team players to join us as a Kitchen Assistant at our Westley Court Care Home.

The key responsibilities of our Kitchen Assistant role at Coate Water Care include:
- Assisting the chef in the preparation and delivery of food to residents in the care home.
- Washing up after meals and ensuring that the kitchen cleanliness is maintained to a high standard at all times.
- Comply with the statutory regulations concerning food hygiene, COSHH and Health and Safety at work
- Assist in the preparation of food for special functions
- Knowledge on Allergens and Dietary requirements (e.g. how to puree food)
- Basic Knowledge on preparing meals
