Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the care home.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and company policies.
- Lead, motivate, and support the care team to deliver outstanding care.
- Oversee care planning and risk assessments to meet residents’ individual needs.
- Manage staffing, rotas, and performance reviews.
- Handle safeguarding concerns and incident reporting promptly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with CQC requirements.
- Work one shift per week on the care floor to stay connected with residents and support the team.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a leadership role within a care setting (essential).
- Strong knowledge of care practices and regulatory standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and inspire a team.
- Valid nursing license preferred but not essential.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
