Job summary

Our care home is a family-run, 23-bed nursing and residential home located in a small village just north of Worthing, surrounded by beautiful countryside. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional, highly personalised care to every resident.

Rated “Outstanding” by the CQC, we are now looking to appoint a Care Home Manager to lead and oversee the day-to-day running of the home. You will be supported by a dedicated team including a Clinical Lead, Team Leaders, Nurses and Ancillary Staff.

Home Manager Package

  • Starting salary: £50,000 per annum

  • Annual bonus

About the Care Home Manager Role

  • Proven experience as a Care Home Manager within a nursing home environment, with the ability to lead, mentor and develop strong teams

  • Familiarity with electronic systems (e.g., Care Planning, Medication, Notifications, Audits) is advantageous

  • Nurse qualification with an active PIN

  • Strong understanding of CQC regulations and relevant legislation

  • Excellent organisational and planning abilities

  • Effective communication skills and confidence in building relationships with stakeholders at all levels

  • Strong business acumen and experience managing budgets

  • Willingness to attend the home during evenings or weekends when required

  • Ability to maintain and increase occupancy

  • Proactive approach to marketing and promoting the home’s reputation

  • Visa sponsorship available for candidates already residing in the UK
