General Duties
- Follow instructions as requested by the Manager and the Head Housekeeper
- Ensure that the premises are kept secure at all times.
- Ensure that any information collected during the performing of duties is kept confidential.
- Ensure economical use of the Home’s resources and minimise wastage of food and other resources.
- Maintain the safety of all residents, visitors and staff at all times.
- Respond to emergency/crisis situations appropriately.
- Ensure that all reasonable precautions are taken to ensure the safety and welfare of residents, staff and visitors in the Home and that Health and Safety procedures are adhered to.
- Ensure that all accidents to residents, staff and visitors are reported to the Sister in charge and recorded in line with the Home’s procedures
