Job summary
To provide maintenance services in accordance with current best practices, according to policy and procedures, agreed standards, legislative requirements and relevant regulations under the direction of the Manager
To action both planned and reactive maintenance issues and prioritise in terms of urgency
The Maintenance responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
· Assist in the assessment of the effectiveness of maintenance implementation and delivery
· Implement actions to meet and maintain maintenance standards
· Systematically solve day-to-day problematical issues which arise
· Ensure the service users’ rights are protected
Be responsible for promoting and protecting the welfare of those individuals supported by the service
Skills / Qualifications:
- Proficient Written Skills Ensure accurate
- legible maintenance schedules are completed and maintained Assist in the formulation and implementation of maintenance policies and procedures Communication Skills Good English - Written and verbal To communicate effectively with service users and their visitors Attend Heads of Department meetings to represent Maintenance Building Maintenance Skills Plumbing
