Job summary
30 hours per week - 5 days per week.
Flexible hours - 8 am - 2 pm or 9 am - 3 pm.

You will be the go-to person for keeping our home running smoothly. Your skills will ensure that residents live in a safe, well-maintained environment, and your work will directly contribute to the warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes Oak Tree Lodge special.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out day-to-day repairs and maintenance across the home.
- maintain the safety of the care home
- Ensure safety checks and compliance with health and safety standards.
- Support with decorating, minor refurbishments, and keeping the home looking its best.
- Work closely with the care team to respond quickly to maintenance needs.
- Help create a safe, comfortable, and attractive environment for residents, families, and staff.
What We’re Looking For:
- Practical skills in maintenance, repairs, and general DIY.
- knowledge and experience in health and safety
- Knowledge of health and safety of fire in care homes
- Background in health and safety checks
- A proactive, can-do attitude with attention to detail.
- Reliability, teamwork, and a commitment to high standards.
