Job summary

30 hours per week - 5 days per week.

Flexible hours - 8 am - 2 pm or 9 am - 3 pm.

Oak Tree Lodge is a welcoming dementia care home where every detail is designed to help residents feel safe, comfortable, and valued. You will be the go-to person for keeping our home running smoothly. Your skills will ensure that residents live in a safe, well-maintained environment, and your work will directly contribute to the warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes Oak Tree Lodge special.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out day-to-day repairs and maintenance across the home.
• maintain the safety of the care home
• Ensure safety checks and compliance with health and safety standards.
• Support with decorating, minor refurbishments, and keeping the home looking its best.
• Work closely with the care team to respond quickly to maintenance needs.
• Help create a safe, comfortable, and attractive environment for residents, families, and staff.

What We’re Looking For:

• Practical skills in maintenance, repairs, and general DIY.
• knowledge and experience in health and safety
• Knowledge of health and safety of fire in care homes
• Background in health and safety checks
• A proactive, can-do attitude with attention to detail.
• Reliability, teamwork, and a commitment to high standards.
