Quarry Mount Residential Care Home is looking for a reliable and experienced Maintenance Person to join our friendly and supportive team.

This role involves carrying out general maintenance duties to ensure our care home remains safe, comfortable, and well-maintained for residents, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

·   General maintenance, including decorating, basic plumbing, carpentry and gardening

·   Routine inspections, repairs, and upkeep of the building and grounds

·   Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations

·   Promptly reporting and resolving maintenance issues

·   Interacting professionally and respectfully with residents and staff

About You:

·   Previous experience in a maintenance role

·   Competent in general repairs and property maintenance

·   Compassionate and understanding, particularly when working around residents with dementia

·   Proactive, reliable, and able to work independently

·   Friendly and professional manner

Essential Requirements:

·   Full UK driving licence

·   Enhanced DBS check required (must be completed before employment)
