We are a stunning new home that opened in September 2025 in the Cimla Area of Neath. We are looking for that special nurse who really wants to make a difference and work in a truly person centered enviorment delivering high quality nursing care. 

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our brand new care home team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality resident care in a state of the art fully renovated care home , administer medications, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the residents are living their best life. This role is vital in promoting health, preventing illness, and providing care for the residents in St Brelades.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to residents ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by their GP and other professionals.
  • Monitor and assess residents conditions, documenting changes and communicating with the care team.
  • Provide support to residents and their families their care plans.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement the residents care plans.
  • Maintain accurate and high quality resident records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance nursing skills.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology.
  • Excellent resident care skills, demonstrating empathy and compassion.
  • Proficient in medication administration, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with patients, families, and care teams.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a calm demeanour.
  • Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
