Join a home where care comes first and your contribution truly matters.
Yarnley House opened its doors in Autumn 2024 and has quickly become a warm, welcoming home for its residents across Residential, Dementia, Nursing, and Respite care. Our modern, purpose-built home combines comfort, innovation, and community, supporting up to 72 residents. What truly makes Yarnley House special is our people and we’re looking for compassionate Care Assistants to join our growing team.
Whether you’re experienced or new to care, this is your chance to make a real difference every day, supported by a team that values you as much as the residents you care for.
What life at Yarnley House looks like
You’ll be part of a close-knit team where kindness, respect and teamwork aren’t just words on a wall, they’re how we show up for each other and for our residents.
Your role will centre around real, human care:
- Supporting residents with personal care, mobility and daily routines
- Offering companionship, reassurance and a listening ear
- Helping residents enjoy meals, activities and meaningful moments
- Working alongside nurses, colleagues and families to deliver truly person-centred care
- Promoting dignity, independence and wellbeing at all times
No two days will be the same but every day, you’ll know your work matters.
What we’re really looking for
You don’t need to be perfect. You don’t need years of experience.
We’re looking for people who are:
- Naturally kind and patient
- Reliable and proud of their work
- Comfortable working as part of a team
- Willing to learn, grow and ask questions
- Passionate about supporting older people with dignity and respect
If you have a Level 2 in Health & Social Care, great. If not, we’ll support you to work towards it.
What you’ll receive in return
- £12.60 per hour
- Paid DBS
- Free staff meals on shift (T&Cs apply)
- Company pension scheme
- Uniform provided
- 5.6 weeks annual leave (full-time equivalent)
- Access to in-house training and nationally recognised qualifications
- Employee Assistance Programme for wellbeing support
