Registered Nurse (Nights), Bramble Down Nursing Home - 24 hours per week, to include alternate weekends. £27.37 per hour
Clinical Skills. Compassionate Heart. Life-Changing Impact.
This isn’t hospital nursing. It’s not rushed corridors or ticking boxes. It’s slower, deeper, more personal. It’s about building relationships that matter - and having time to care, properly.
Our nurses are at the centre of everything we do. You’ll be there for the clinical, the critical - and the kind moments, too. Holding someone’s hand. Comforting a family. Protecting dignity right to the very end.
It’s not easy. But it’s real nursing. And for the right person, it’s the most rewarding role there is.
What you'll be doing:
- Leading and delivering high-quality nursing care with compassion and precision.
- Building strong, trusting relationships with residents and their families.
- Managing medications, care plans, and assessments with diligence and respect.
- Supporting and guiding care staff - sharing knowledge and setting the tone for excellence.
- Being calm in a crisis, gentle in a difficult moment, and strong when others lean on you.
Who you are:
- A Registered Nurse (NMC PIN) with a passion for person-centred care.
- Someone who sees the individual before the task list.
- A confident, caring leader who brings out the best in others.
- Skilled, grounded, and not afraid of the emotional side of care - it’s why you do what you do.
What we offer:
- A care-first culture, where people - not paperwork - come first.
- Time to nurse, not just react.
- Supportive management and a team who respect your clinical judgement.
- Fully paid training plus excellent opportunities to grow and progress.
- A caring induction with your own mentor to help you settle in confidently.
- Free DBS check and auto-enrolment into our pension scheme.
- Flex Earn - see and access your earned wages before payday.
- Eligibility for the Blue Light Card, giving you discounts across shops, restaurants and more.
- Free meals when you’re working long shifts.
- Access to a Peninsula Care Homes Mental Health First Aider, an external confidential helpline for you and your family, the ‘Whycare?’ app, and a Refer a Friend scheme (earning you money for bringing your friends on board)
- Freedom to bring your creativity, personality and warmth to your role.
You won’t always go home with clean scrubs. You might carry stories that stay with you. But you’ll know - truly know - that you were there when it mattered most.
If you’re looking for a nursing role where your heart, your hands, and your head all matter equally - we’d be honoured to meet you.
