Job summary
We’re seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Weekend Cook to join our warm and welcoming 21?bed residential care home. It’s a great role for someone who loves cooking, takes pride in serving tasty, nutritious meals, and wants to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents. You’ll prepare and serve home?cooked dishes following set menus and dietary needs, keep meals well?presented and person?centred, and maintain excellent kitchen hygiene and food safety. You’ll work independently in our supportive home and can cover extra shifts when our main cook is away. We offer full training, a friendly team, a calm, homely atmosphere, opportunities for extra hours, and a competitive rate. We’re looking for someone confident with basic cooking, organised, dependable, friendly, willing to learn, and committed to providing high?quality meals for older adults. Skills / Qualifications:
