Acacia Care has arrived in Hunstanton! Regency Manor Care Home is looking for Senior Care Assistant's to join us on this exciting new journey. Providing residential, respite, and dementia care, with 70 state-of-the-art rooms for residents to reside in, spacious dining and lounge areas, and so much more, we are excited to be bringing this opportunity to Hunstanton!

What you will receive as a Senior Care Assistant (Nights);

  • £15.09 per hour
  • Full-time, permanent contract
  • 38.5 hours per week on a rolling 6-week rota
  • 12 hours shifts, 3 on 3 off, 8pm-8am
  • Based in Hunstanton – PE36 5AY

What you will be doing as a Senior Care Assistant;

  • Assist residents with the activities of daily living and personal care
  • Supervise a team of carers, providing support and assistance where required
  • Act as a role model for other care staff in respect of day-to-day activities
  • Provide support at meal times
  • Ensuring residents' independence, dignity and respect, by delivering the very best person-centred care
  • Responsible for daily medication rounds, ensuring records are maintained
  • Interacting with, and encouraging residents to socialise and take part in activities

What you will need to be successful as a Senior Care Assistant;

  • Experience working within a caring environment
  • Hold or be willing to work towards Level 3 in Health and Social Care
  • The ability to communicate well and make others feel welcome and comfortable
  • Supervisory and leadership skills, with a strong ability to motivate and inspire
  • Willingness to develop new skills
