At Longridge Hall Care Home, we’re seeking skilled and compassionate carers to join our afternoon team, working 2pm–8pm shifts, ideal for those wanting consistent part-time hours each week.
Longridge Hall is a warm and supportive home with standout features including a reminiscence lounge, chapel, and indoor sensory garden. Led by our longstanding Care Home Manager, Tracey—who has been with us for more than 10 years—you’ll be joining a team that truly values experience and high standards of care.
Key Responsibilities:
We’re looking for someone who can bring confidence, knowledge, and an experienced approach to person-centred care. In this role, you will:
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate care based on individual needs
- Support residents with personal care, mobility, and daily living tasks
- Encourage independence and preserve dignity at all times
- Assist with meals, hydration, and wellbeing routines
- Build strong, supportive relationships with residents and families
- Support afternoon engagement and activities
- Keep accurate and detailed care records
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment
What We’re Looking For:
- Prior experience as a Care Assistant or Support Worker
- A strong understanding of person-centred care
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A caring, professional, and reliable approach
- The ability to commit to regular 2pm–8pm shifts
- The ability to commute to Longridge
