Job summary
Earlsferry House Care Home is a charming, converted period home set beside the beach in the coastal town of Elie, Fife, with stunning views across Elie Bay. The home provides Residential, Nursing, Dementia and Respite care for up to 26 residents in a warm and welcoming environment, where its smaller, close knit setting allows you to build meaningful relationships and make a real difference every day as part of a supportive team.
Senior Care Assistant Contract
- £14.50 per hour
- Full Time, Part Time, Bank Contracts Available
- Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided
- 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)
Role Overview
As Senior Care Assistant, you will guide and support your team
in delivering safe, high quality, person centred care that makes a
real difference every day to our residents.
You will take responsibility for the smooth running of your
shift, ensuring care is well organised, consistent and delivered to a
high standard. Alongside providing hands on care, you will oversee
medication, monitor residents’ wellbeing and respond to any changes,
ensuring care remains safe and appropriate.
You will maintain accurate care records and work closely with
colleagues, families and healthcare professionals to ensure clear
communication and continuity of care.
We Are Looking For
- SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (minimum), with Level 3 desirable or willingness to work towards
- Medication administration training with competency is essential
- Experience supporting or leading a care team is beneficial
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- A caring, compassionate and professional approach
