What if your role wasn’t just about delivering clinical care… but about helping people live richer, more meaningful lives?

At Peninsula Care Homes, we believe moving into care shouldn’t mean life becomes smaller. It should mean safer, warmer days - filled with connection, comfort and purpose.

And that’s only possible because of people like you: skilled, compassionate nurses who bring both clinical expertise and genuine heart to everything they do.

A rich life isn’t measured in charts or medication rounds. It’s measured in how people feel - understood, supported and truly valued.

As a Nurse in Bramble Down Nursing Home, you’ll play a vital role in creating that experience. You’ll use your clinical knowledge to support health and wellbeing, while building meaningful relationships that help each person feel safe, respected and at home.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll be a calm, knowledgeable presence on shift - trusted by your team and reassuring for residents.

Your role will focus on:

  • Delivering high-quality clinical care – assessing needs, planning and providing safe, person-centred nursing support
  • Managing medication safely – using eMAR with accuracy and accountability
  • Leading and supporting the team – offering guidance, mentoring and ensuring care is delivered to a high standard
  • Monitoring and responding to change – recognising changes in health or wellbeing and acting quickly
  • Keeping care coordinated – maintaining accurate records and working closely with families and professionals
  • Supporting daily life and wellbeing – combining practical care with compassion, dignity and meaningful connection

You’ll help ensure each shift runs smoothly, with clear communication and a team who feel confident and supported.

Because nursing here isn’t just about clinical excellence - it’s about making every moment count.

Who you are

  • You’re a Registered Nurse with a current NMC registration, bringing both skill and empathy to your role.
  • You’re calm under pressure, organised in your approach, and confident in your clinical decisions.
  • You care deeply about people - taking time to listen, understand and build trust.
  • You enjoy supporting others, sharing your knowledge and helping your team grow.
  • Above all, you believe that every shift is an opportunity to help someone feel safe, valued and able to live their rich life.

Above all, you believe every shift is a chance to help someone live their rich life.

Our Rich Life Framework - Everything we do begins with one question: “What does a rich life look like to you?” As a Nurse, you’ll help bring that to life - creating a home where people feel safe, valued and surrounded by things that matter to them.

Our CARE values - Committed. Ambitious. Responsible. Embracing.
They shape how we support residents, families and each other.

You’ll join a team that looks out for one another, celebrates small victories and takes pride in making each day meaningful.
