An exciting opportunity exists for the right candidate to work with us as a Healthcare Assistant in our luxury care home, Foxhunters, Abergvenny, which is part of the Dormy Care Communities group.

The home has 70 suites and offers the very best care and services for elderly people. The successful candidate must have the passion, drive and enthusiasm and who will share the same values and principles as Dormy Care Communities, when delivering a high-quality service to our ladies and gentlemen. Responsibilities of Healthcare Assistant include:

• Ensuring the highest levels of care are maintained by caring for ladies and gentlemen.
• Washing, assisting with toileting requirements, dressing, undressing, assisting with food and drink as and when required according to our ladies and gentlemen’s individual needs
• Promote rights, dignity, privacy and respect to all our ladies and gentlemen
• Assisting and interacting with our ladies and gentlemen during activities
• Observing care planning needs and completing daily records in line with our company policies
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as required.

Essential Requirements of Care Assistant

• Excellent communication skills
• Willingness to learn

Desirable Requirements of a Healthcare Assistant

• NVQ level 2 or equivalent CAN BE OFFERED
