As Clinical Deputy Manager,
you’ll play a central role in making that happen.
Clinical Deputy Manager (RGN/RMN) Contract
- £60,000 per annum
- Relocation Package considered for the right person
- Contracted to 40 hours per week
- Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided
- 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)
- Paid NMC fees
Ongoing training, clinical development and clear progression into
Home Manager roles, supported by experienced senior leadership and
regional teams within a well structured and high performing environment.

This is more than a clinical role it’s an opportunity to lead,
support, and shape the quality of care every single day.
You’ll
divide your time between hands-on nursing and protected supernumerary
hours, as well as being part of the on-call rota allowing you to guide
the team, strengthen clinical practice, and ensure the home continues
to deliver safe, responsive, and person-centred care.
You’ll be
the clinical anchor of the service supporting nurses and carers,
overseeing care standards, and working closely with the Home Manager
to maintain compliance with the Care Quality Commission and
continuously improve the service.
Your presence will be visible,
supportive, and reassuring to residents, families, and your team
alike.
What you’ll be trusted to do
You’ll lead from the
front, creating a culture where clinical excellence and kindness go
hand in hand. Your responsibilities will include supporting and
developing the nursing team, overseeing care planning and clinical
governance, ensuring the safe delivery of complex care, and helping
maintain a home that is always inspection-ready.
You’ll deputise
in the Home Manager’s absence, providing stability, confidence, and
leadership. Your influence will help shape standards, strengthen
practice, and support the continued success of the home.
What We Are Looking For
- Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with a valid NMC PIN
- Strong clinical knowledge and experience within a care setting
- Proven leadership and team management experience
- Experience in clinical governance, audits and compliance
- Ability to support, mentor and develop staff
- Confident decision making and problem solving skills
- A compassionate, professional and resident focused approach
