Job summary
Hampton Care Home is a spacious, purpose-built home in the London suburb of Hampton, providing high-quality nursing, dementia, palliative and short-term care for up to 76 residents. Set across three floors with generous ensuite bedrooms, dedicated staff teams and secure landscaped gardens, the home offers a safe, supportive and welcoming environment designed for comfort, dignity and quality of life.
Housekeeping Assistant Contract
- £12.71 per hour
- Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided
- 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)
Role Overview
As Housekeeping Assistant, you will play a key role in
maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment while also
supporting laundry services. This is a varied, hands on role where
your attention to detail and high standards will directly impact
comfort, dignity and daily wellbeing.
You will be responsible for cleaning residents’ rooms, bathrooms
and communal areas, ensuring all spaces are maintained to a high
standard of hygiene and presentation. Alongside this, you will support
laundry duties including washing, drying, ironing and returning
clothing correctly, ensuring all items are clearly labelled and
handled with care.
Working closely with the wider team, you will follow infection
control, health and safety and housekeeping procedures, ensuring all
tasks are carried out safely and efficiently. Your role will
contribute to a well organised and comfortable environment where
individuals feel respected and supported.
