The Role

As a Care Assistant, you will support residents with their daily living activities while promoting dignity, independence, and wellbeing. You will build meaningful relationships with residents and their families and play an important role in ensuring every resident receives high-quality, individualised care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with personal care, including washing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Support residents with mobility and the use of appropriate equipment.
  • Assist with meals, hydration, and nutrition.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.
  • Monitor and report changes in residents' physical or emotional wellbeing.
  • Maintain accurate care records and documentation.
  • Work closely with colleagues, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ensure residents are treated with dignity, respect, and kindness at all times.
  • Participate in activities and help create a positive and engaging environment.
