Job Title: Care Home Cook

Main Duties:

• Prepare and cook nutritious meals for residents, considering dietary requirements and preferences.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety at all times.
• Ensure kitchen cleanliness and organisation.
• Record food temperatures and safety checks as required.
• Manage stock and order supplies as needed.
• Work collaboratively with care staff and management.
• Adhere to all care home policies, including safeguarding and health & safety.

  Requirements:

• Food hygiene certificate (Level 2 or above).
• Experience in catering, ideally within a care environment.
• Awareness of allergies and special diets.
• Good organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
