Pathway Healthcare flies the flag for learning disabilities in the South

May 2016 – EAST GRINSTEAD; Regional care provider for adults with learning disabilities, Pathway Healthcare, will host a Spring Ball for its residents and their guests on Wednesday 18th May at the Yoghurt Rooms, East Grinstead.

A celebration of progress and achievement under the care and guidance of Pathway Healthcare, the evening will make residents of two Pathway homes, Cabot House and Bainbridge court, feel like stars for the night, with a red carpet entrance and an awards ceremony.

Industry professionals will also be in attendance, as the event will double as a celebration of the Pathway Healthcare group of homes, with the business due to open its third community home in East Grinstead in Summer 2016.

The new home, Magellen House, will be a 24-hour residential care service for up to 9 people, and will allow adults with learning difficulties to live more independent lives with the support of dedicated care teams.

Pathway Healthcare managing director, Dillen Iyavoo, commented: “We’re proud of the progress our service users have made – and continue to make – and we believe it’s important to celebrate their achievements and hold events for them in the local community.

“It’s not very often that residents get the chance to dress up for a fancy event. We want to give them a night to remember – one which they can share with their family and friends. That’s why we’re making this event extra special by holding it at the wonderful Yoghurt Rooms on Busses farm in East Grinstead.”

The charming farm is full of character and features an events barn where the evening will be held and numerous guesthouses as well as an expansive setting.

The night is set to be a highlight of the residents’ calendar as Pathway Healthcare flies the flag for learning disabilities in the South of the country.
