Dunanney staff member receives recognition award

Joanne McTernaghan, Dunanney Activities Co-Ordinator/Home Trainer, was invited to attend an awards ceremony on the evening of Thursday 25th May, at Corrs Corner, Newtownabbey.

This ceremony was held by the Royal British Legion, who awarded Joanne a Certificate of Appreciation, for her efforts in selling poppies last November, to help raise funds for both past and present service personnel. Joanne gave up a substantial amount of her own time for this effort, regularly setting up stands outside supermarkets etc, as well as selling to the staff, residents and resident families in Dunanney.

Anyone who knows Joanne, knows that she always puts 100% effort into anything she undertakes and they are proud to have her as a member of the team at Dunanney Care Home.
