Firstly, we’re delighted to share with you and readers in the Star Courier area, the results of our fundraising week at the end of September during which Team CM (residents, relatives, guests and colleagues) collectively raised more than £1000 with the support from our young friends at National Citizen Service (NCS) from our Memory Walk for the Alzheimer's Society and Macmillan Coffee Morning and Afternoon Tea, which culminated in a cheque presentation made by Cllr Valerie White, Mayor of Surrey Heath to Irene Bothomley, Chair of MacMillan Fundraising Camberley, preceding the release of 40 helium filled green balloons by our residents and guests! (Please see attached photos taken by photographer Alan Meeks).

Last Tuesday, we launched our 'Nippers and Slippers" Group, to the delight of some our residents, who enjoyed a show and tell themed, fun and games afternoon with an energetic bunch of babies and toddlers who brought joy and laughter to us all (photos attached). It was hugely successful, so another session is planned for Saturday 21st October which will be combined with an art activity, then twice every month - watch this space!
