Mum chose Camberley Manor and often said she could not be anywhere better. The staff are warm and caring. As a relative you quickly feel part of the team. The staff include the family in all decisions and are completely transparent. When mum first moved into the home she enjoyed it's many facilities
and all the activities on offer. As her health deteriorated their care increased. I could not have asked for anything more.
Reply from Amber Luscombe, Business Development Manager at Camberley ManorThank you for taking the time to share your positive experience. We are truly grateful that your mum chose Camberley Manor and that she felt so happy and comfortable with us. It means a great deal to hear that our team made both you and your mum feel supported, included, and part of the Camberley Manor family.
Providing warm, compassionate care and working closely with families is at the heart of what we do, so we're pleased that you felt involved in decisions and well-informed throughout your mum's time with us. It's also lovely to hear that she enjoyed the facilities and activities when she first joined us, and that our team were able to adapt and increase her care as her needs changed. Your kind words will mean so much to the whole team, who work incredibly hard to provide the best possible care and support to every resident and their loved ones.

My father was cared for at Camberley Manor mid-2019 until early 2025. The care he received was such a blessing. He was encouraged to join activities in the main lounge but if he didn't want to, the staff ensured he was comfortable reading/resting in his room. 1-1 visits from carers were important.
They found out what he enjoyed (playing cards, doing puzzles, chatting about his family) and joined him in his room doing that. The food quality was great, the communal feel was evident when we visited. If he was unwell, we were kept informed and staff listened to us if we had concerns. Over the years, there were changes in management but for the last couple of years, there was great consistency and that became important to us as dad neared the end of his days. During the last few weeks, our family were supported so well - with hugs, cups of tea & sweet treats, to keep us going. We can't thank the staff enough for their care. In his own words "There was no place else he'd rather be".
Reply from Amber Luscombe, Business Development Manager at Camberley ManorThank you so much for taking the time to share such a thoughtful message about your father's time at Camberley Manor, and we are deeply sorry for your loss.
We're so glad to hear that your dad felt comfortable and supported, whether he was joining in activities in the lounge or enjoying quieter moments in his room. Our staff always try to get to know each resident personally, so it's wonderful to hear that the time spent playing cards, doing puzzles, and chatting meant so much to him.
It's also very touching to hear that you and your family felt supported during those final weeks. Being able to offer comfort not just to residents but also to their loved ones is something we care deeply about.
Your father's words, "There was no place else he'd rather be," are incredibly special to us, and we're grateful that we could be part of his journey. Thank you again for your kind feedback and for trusting us with his care. Your message will be shared with the whole team.

I would like to thank everyone at Camberley Manor Care Home following the recent passing of my mother-in-law, who spent three and a half years there.

After a major operation in 2022 she had extremely complex medical needs and was given a limited prognosis. Thanks to the exceptional nursing care and

support at Camberley Manor, our family were blessed with three and a half more precious years with her.

The carers, nurses and management were consistently professional, compassionate and attentive. She was treated with dignity and kindness at all times and formed genuine bonds with the staff. It gave my husband great peace of mind knowing his mum was safe and being cared for as well as possible.

A specialist provider also provided excellent physiotherapy support.

Camberley Manor gave her comfort, dignity and the best possible care. With heartfelt thanks.

Following a serious operation nearly four years ago, we were so fortunate to find Camberley Manor Care Home for Mum. They promised the very best for her, and that is exactly what she received. The staff cared for her with true professionalism, kindness and gentleness, and she often told me how loved
she felt. They made her laugh, shared stories, and created a warm, friendly atmosphere where she quickly settled and felt special.
Mum adored the gardens and especially loved sitting by the fishpond, watching the beautiful, enormous fish.
We are deeply grateful to the wonderful staff who gave Mum extra years that felt meaningful and happy. I would wholeheartedly recommend Camberley Manor to any family who wants the very best care for their loved one.

My mum sadly passed away last week after spending three and a half years at Camberley Manor Care Home, and I want to express my heartfelt thanks to all the staff.

Following a major operation in 2022, Mum had extremely complex medical needs and was given a very limited prognosis in hospital. Thanks

to the exceptional nursing care, skill and dedication shown by Camberley Manor, we were blessed with an extra three and a half precious years with her.

The carers, nurses and management were consistently professional, kind and compassionate. Over time they became genuinely fond of Mum, and she of them. She felt safe, comfortable and content throughout her time there, and our whole family always felt reassured she was in the best possible hands.

The support from their physiotherapy partner was also excellent and greatly appreciated.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for caring for my wonderful mum so well.

My mum had been living with cancer, and when the time came to increase her palliative care, with no hospice beds available, we began looking at care homes in the area. From the moment I visited Camberley Manor, we were welcomed with such warmth and compassion. Touring the home and seeing how happy both
the residents and staff were completely reassured me that this was the right place.
My mum was given a beautiful room with a lovely woodland view, and she had four nurses caring for her who were simply incredible. Over the last five weeks of my mum's life, Camberley Manor truly became my home as well, I felt like part of the family.
I would wholeheartedly recommend this care home to anyone seeking nursing, dementia, or respite care. It is a truly wonderful place. Five-plus stars from me,

My mother recently needed to move to a care home as a matter of urgency due to a rapid decline in her health. Like many older people, she desperately wanted to stay in her own home, but it was simply no longer safe for her. As soon as we visited Camberley Manor, however, it became clear that they were
the right choice and would provide the best possible care.
The standard of support here is exceptional. They not only provided great clinical care for Mum but also offer a fantastic range of activities for all the residents, helping to keep days interesting.
What truly set Camberley Manor apart was the incredible compassion and support they extended to our entire family during mum's final weeks.

From the first meeting at our mums flat to discuss her Respite Care needs until she peacefully fell asleep 4 weeks later. The exceptional Care Home manager and the Lavender team showed fantastic professionalism, care and support to our mum.
The personal engagement both witnessed and experienced could
not be faulted, and was hugely appreciated at a very stressful time for our family.
The wonderful facilities at the Care Home enjoyed by family and friends made the emotional and painful situation more tolerable.
Personally, I cannot thank the staff and management team at the Care Home enough for the care, support and empathy shown to me, my family, friends and most importantly my mum.
Thank you one and all xxx

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.9 (9.931) out of 10 for Camberley Manor is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.9 out of 5 from 73 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 5.0 out of 5 from 73 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.931 for Camberley Manor is calculated as follows: ( (816 Excellents x 5) + (49 Goods x 4) + (4 Satisfactorys x 3) + (1 Poors x 2) ) ÷ 870 Ratings = 4.931
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 5 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Camberley Manor is based on 73 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 4
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 60 registered maximum number of service users is 12, which has been reached with 73 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
