Camberley Manor is a benchmark for Care homes, our first impressions on our initial visit was that of a modern, bright and clean home, the rooms were well equipped and the staff were happy and friendly, on our tour of the building I was surprised by the facilities available, ranging from a cinema to
hairdressers and a spa and therapy room to name but a few, on entering the reception there is an entrance cafe where you can self serve and have a snack, the garden is well kept and bordered by trees and has many seating options and is really quite tranquill.
But most importantly, the effort that goes into caring for the residents is absolutely amazing, there is daily entertainment 3 times a day, 7 days a week, where they can participate in all manner of activities, excursions can be had to various localities and everyone is encouraged to participate and this has really benefitted my mother in law who has blossomed over the past 6 months, a big thank you to everyone for your efforts.
Reply from Amber Luscombe, Business Development Manager at Camberley ManorThank you so much for your wonderful review and for taking the time to share your experience of Camberley Manor. We are delighted that your first impressions of our home reflected the welcoming and caring environment we strive to provide every day.
Most importantly, we are thrilled to know that your mother-in-law has flourished during her time with us already. It is incredibly rewarding to hear how much she has benefited from the activities, entertainment, and opportunities available within the home and the wider community.
Your kind words will mean a great deal to our entire team, who work tirelessly to provide the highest standard of care and companionship. We will be sure to share your feedback with them. Thank you Andy.

My wifes mother has been a resident at Camberley Manor for a year or so. In my opinion the facilities and staff are first class. Before my retirement I was a finance directory for 22 years and have visited literally hundreds of nursing homes. The moment I visited Camberley Manor I realised this was
the one for our family. I cannot praise it enough. Great management & great team.

Really glad my Nan is here. Camberley Manor has provided fantastic, constant care throughout this late stage of her life.
CM provided significant help bringing nanny to my wedding, arranging a carer to look after her and coordinating with taxis.
Updates over social media on her activities are good.
Care notes are frequent.
Always very friendly and welcoming. I recommend visiting at tea and cake time!

My mum did not settle easily despite needing the care provided at Camberley Manor. The staff have treated mum with kindness and professionalism at every turn, despite her frame of mind varying. Mum loves the food and enjoys the singing activities. The garden and fish pond are a big draw.
Reply from Amber Luscombe, Business Development Manager at Camberley ManorThank you for sharing your kind feedback. We understand that settling into a new home can be extremely challenging, particularly for those living with dementia or Alzheimer's, and we are pleased that our team has been able to provide the correct support to your mum. We want our residents to feel comfortable and accepted in their new home and we know Mum has made some lovely connections with other residents already.
We're also delighted that your mum, takes pleasure in our activities, and especially loves spending time in the garden. Creating a warm, engaging and welcoming environment where residents can thrive, is incredibly important to us, and we're pleased to see her settling in and enjoying life at Camberley Manor. You do not need to look anywhere else other than Camberley Manor as you will not find a better care home. We moved my Grandmother in early this year and from the very first day the staff met her, I knew instantly she would be extremely well looked after, cared for, respected and treated with dignity.
The team didn't just care for my Grandmother, they truly saw her and they understood her individual needs making her time with them so comfortable and peaceful. Although my Grandmother has now sadly passed away from old age being over 100 years old, we could not have chosen a better place for her to slip peacefully away. The respect and love the team have shown not only my Grandmother, but to our whole family is something we will be forever grateful for. We are going to miss you all greatly, and thank you to you all for everything you did for my Grandmother.
Reply from Amber Luscombe, Business Development Manager at Camberley ManorIt was a true privilege to care for your grandmother and to be part of her journey. We strive to ensure that every resident is treated with the dignity, respect and kindness they deserve, and it is deeply reassuring to know that your grandmother felt comfortable and at peace in our home.
On behalf of everyone at Camberley Manor, please accept our sincere condolences. We are grateful for the trust you placed in us and for allowing us to care for such a special person. Mum chose Camberley Manor and often said she could not be anywhere better. The staff are warm and caring. As a relative you quickly feel part of the team. The staff include the family in all decisions and are completely transparent. When mum first moved into the home she enjoyed it's many facilities
and all the activities on offer. As her health deteriorated their care increased. I could not have asked for anything more.

My father was cared for at Camberley Manor mid-2019 until early 2025. The care he received was such a blessing. He was encouraged to join activities in the main lounge but if he didn't want to, the staff ensured he was comfortable reading/resting in his room. 1-1 visits from carers were important.
They found out what he enjoyed (playing cards, doing puzzles, chatting about his family) and joined him in his room doing that. The food quality was great, the communal feel was evident when we visited. If he was unwell, we were kept informed and staff listened to us if we had concerns. Over the years, there were changes in management but for the last couple of years, there was great consistency and that became important to us as dad neared the end of his days. During the last few weeks, our family were supported so well - with hugs, cups of tea & sweet treats, to keep us going. We can't thank the staff enough for their care. In his own words "There was no place else he'd rather be".
Reply from Amber Luscombe, Business Development Manager at Camberley ManorThank you so much for taking the time to share such a thoughtful message about your father's time at Camberley Manor, and we are deeply sorry for your loss.
We're so glad to hear that your dad felt comfortable and supported, whether he was joining in activities in the lounge or enjoying quieter moments in his room. Our staff always try to get to know each resident personally, so it's wonderful to hear that the time spent playing cards, doing puzzles, and chatting meant so much to him.
It's also very touching to hear that you and your family felt supported during those final weeks. Being able to offer comfort not just to residents but also to their loved ones is something we care deeply about.
Your father's words, "There was no place else he'd rather be," are incredibly special to us, and we're grateful that we could be part of his journey. Thank you again for your kind feedback and for trusting us with his care. Your message will be shared with the whole team.

I would like to thank everyone at Camberley Manor Care Home following the recent passing of my mother-in-law, who spent three and a half years there.

After a major operation in 2022 she had extremely complex medical needs and was given a limited prognosis. Thanks to the exceptional nursing care and

support at Camberley Manor, our family were blessed with three and a half more precious years with her.

The carers, nurses and management were consistently professional, compassionate and attentive. She was treated with dignity and kindness at all times and formed genuine bonds with the staff. It gave my husband great peace of mind knowing his mum was safe and being cared for as well as possible.

A specialist provider also provided excellent physiotherapy support.

Camberley Manor gave her comfort, dignity and the best possible care. With heartfelt thanks.

Following a serious operation nearly four years ago, we were so fortunate to find Camberley Manor Care Home for Mum. They promised the very best for her, and that is exactly what she received. The staff cared for her with true professionalism, kindness and gentleness, and she often told me how loved
she felt. They made her laugh, shared stories, and created a warm, friendly atmosphere where she quickly settled and felt special.
Mum adored the gardens and especially loved sitting by the fishpond, watching the beautiful, enormous fish.
We are deeply grateful to the wonderful staff who gave Mum extra years that felt meaningful and happy. I would wholeheartedly recommend Camberley Manor to any family who wants the very best care for their loved one.

The carers, nurses and management were consistently professional, kind and compassionate. Over time they became genuinely fond of Mum, and she of them. She felt safe, comfortable and content throughout her time there, and our whole family always felt reassured she was in the best possible hands.

My mum had been living with cancer, and when the time came to increase her palliative care, with no hospice beds available, we began looking at care homes in the area. From the moment I visited Camberley Manor, we were welcomed with such warmth and compassion. Touring the home and seeing how happy both
the residents and staff were completely reassured me that this was the right place.
My mum was given a beautiful room with a lovely woodland view, and she had four nurses caring for her who were simply incredible. Over the last five weeks of my mum's life, Camberley Manor truly became my home as well, I felt like part of the family.

Current Review Score: 10.0 (9.959)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 10 (9.959) out of 10 for Camberley Manor is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 5.0 out of 5 from 79 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 5.0 out of 5 from 79 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.959 for Camberley Manor is calculated as follows: ( (906 Excellents x 5) + (34 Goods x 4) + (1 Satisfactorys x 3) + (1 Poors x 2) ) ÷ 942 Ratings = 4.959
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 5 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Camberley Manor is based on 79 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 4
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 60 registered maximum number of service users is 12, which has been reached with 79 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
