From the moment my father was transferred to Karuna Manor we were very happy with the welcome he received. Since he has been here the staff have been amazing, very caring and supportive to his needs. The management and nurses keep me regularly updated to his condition and any changes in them. We had
chosen Karuna Manor through recommendations and also through word of mouth reviews and I am happy to say that we are not disappointed at all. Well done to all the team at Karuna Manor.

Most wonderful nursing home, very caring staff, always going above their duties to help everybody, residents and visitors alike. Nothing was too much for them. The staff were always very happy and very polite. Very clean, excellent rooms. I cannot thank them enough for all the care my husband was given
during the time he spent there. Wonderful staff even down to the cleaners and laundry staff.

An inspector came to check Maurice's care at Carlton Court, she was impressed with care as we have been, commenting on how very clean and smart it is and the staff very professional and well organised. I am pleased that he is now being got up regularly and is sitting in the chair with other people around
him.

Mum chose Camberley Manor and often said she could not be anywhere better. The staff are warm and caring. As a relative you quickly feel part of the team. The staff include the family in all decisions and are completely transparent. When mum first moved into the home she enjoyed it's many facilities
and all the activities on offer. As her health deteriorated their care increased. I could not have asked for anything more.
Reply from Amber Luscombe, Business Development Manager at Camberley ManorThank you for taking the time to share your positive experience. We are truly grateful that your mum chose Camberley Manor and that she felt so happy and comfortable with us. It means a great deal to hear that our team made both you and your mum feel supported, included, and part of the Camberley Manor family.
Providing warm, compassionate care and working closely with families is at the heart of what we do, so we're pleased that you felt involved in decisions and well-informed throughout your mum's time with us. It's also lovely to hear that she enjoyed the facilities and activities when she first joined us, and that our team were able to adapt and increase her care as her needs changed. Your kind words will mean so much to the whole team, who work incredibly hard to provide the best possible care and support to every resident and their loved ones.

I spent 6 weeks at Candlewood House for post-surgery care when I wasn't able to walk and look after myself independently. The whole team, from management, through nursing, carer and welfare staff have been fantastic. The care and support I've received has been professional, knowledgable and above all
caring and friendly. It has been a real home away from home when I most needed it and gave me the safe environment to just rest and heal. My healing has actually been quite accelerated and I'm certain that's partly down to the amazing care and reassurance I've received at Candlewood. Thank you, I am so grateful for everything!

My father was cared for at Camberley Manor mid-2019 until early 2025. The care he received was such a blessing. He was encouraged to join activities in the main lounge but if he didn't want to, the staff ensured he was comfortable reading/resting in his room. 1-1 visits from carers were important.
They found out what he enjoyed (playing cards, doing puzzles, chatting about his family) and joined him in his room doing that. The food quality was great, the communal feel was evident when we visited. If he was unwell, we were kept informed and staff listened to us if we had concerns. Over the years, there were changes in management but for the last couple of years, there was great consistency and that became important to us as dad neared the end of his days. During the last few weeks, our family were supported so well - with hugs, cups of tea & sweet treats, to keep us going. We can't thank the staff enough for their care. In his own words "There was no place else he'd rather be".
Reply from Amber Luscombe, Business Development Manager at Camberley ManorThank you so much for taking the time to share such a thoughtful message about your father's time at Camberley Manor, and we are deeply sorry for your loss.
We're so glad to hear that your dad felt comfortable and supported, whether he was joining in activities in the lounge or enjoying quieter moments in his room. Our staff always try to get to know each resident personally, so it's wonderful to hear that the time spent playing cards, doing puzzles, and chatting meant so much to him.
It's also very touching to hear that you and your family felt supported during those final weeks. Being able to offer comfort not just to residents but also to their loved ones is something we care deeply about.
Your father's words, "There was no place else he'd rather be," are incredibly special to us, and we're grateful that we could be part of his journey. Thank you again for your kind feedback and for trusting us with his care. Your message will be shared with the whole team.

I would like to thank everyone at Camberley Manor Care Home following the recent passing of my mother-in-law, who spent three and a half years there.

After a major operation in 2022 she had extremely complex medical needs and was given a limited prognosis. Thanks to the exceptional nursing care and

support at Camberley Manor, our family were blessed with three and a half more precious years with her.

The carers, nurses and management were consistently professional, compassionate and attentive. She was treated with dignity and kindness at all times and formed genuine bonds with the staff. It gave my husband great peace of mind knowing his mum was safe and being cared for as well as possible.

A specialist provider also provided excellent physiotherapy support.

Camberley Manor gave her comfort, dignity and the best possible care. With heartfelt thanks.

Reply from Amber Luscombe, Business Development Manager at Camberley ManorThank you so much for taking the time to leave such kind words about our home. We were deeply saddened by your mother-in-law's passing.
We truly loved being a part of her journey and giving her the opportunity to spend more time with you all as a family. She was a valued member of our home, and she will be fondly remembered by both residents and team members. Knowing that you appreciated the care she received means a great deal, and reassures us that we are making a positive difference in the lives of the families we support. Thank you again for your kindness and for trusting us with her care. Please remember that our door is always open, and if there is anything at all we can do to support you, do not hesitate to reach out.

Candlewood House has been an absolute joy. The environment is calm, clean and beautiful, the food is varied and good, the activities are creative, the nights feel safe, the standard of care and nursing is high but, most of all, the whole staff team - including management, admin, reception, nursing,
support staff, care - are welcoming, professional, warm and kind. When I first visited Candlewood House, I thought that my very frail, very elderly mum would not be able to benefit from the many things on offer; but to my surprise, in the short time she's been there, she's growing into the place, and blossoming! Its heartening to know that the eldest residents are over 100 - they're clearly doing something right! Thank you, Candlewood House - you really make a difference!

Candlewood House has given excellent care to a 96-year--old family friend who needs both nursing and dementia care. The management is well organised, the home is spotlessly clean and all the staff including management, administration, and support staff are kind and caring. The level of care is such
that there has been a noticeable improvement in my friend's health and wellbeing within a month. The wide range of activities and good quality food has also had a beneficial effect on her mental well being. Her daughter is finally able to relax, knowing that her mother is well cared for and safe at all times. Even though I'm only a friend, I'm made to feel as welcome as if I were family. Candlewood House is expensive but worth every penny. I cannot thank everyone at Candlewood House enough for their professionalism and care. In short, Candlewood House is a five-star across the board!

my grandfather has recently moved in to Cambridge Manor.
From the very beginning, the staff have been welcoming, kind, and patient. They took time to understand his needs, preferences, and routines, helping him settle in comfortably and with dignity.
The home itself is clean, well-maintained, and
feels safe and homely rather than clinical. There always seems to be something going on to keep residents engaged, and staff encourage participation. Communication with our family has also been good - we feel informed and reassured about his care.
Most importantly, my grandfather seems happy, comfortable, and well looked after.

Supporting each resident to settle in with dignity, while taking the time to understand their individual needs, preferences, and routines, is something we care deeply about - so it's wonderful to know this has made a positive difference.
We're also pleased that you feel the home is clean, safe, and homely, and that communication with your family has been reassuring. Keeping families informed and involved is extremely important to us.

Following a serious operation nearly four years ago, we were so fortunate to find Camberley Manor Care Home for Mum. They promised the very best for her, and that is exactly what she received. The staff cared for her with true professionalism, kindness and gentleness, and she often told me how loved
she felt. They made her laugh, shared stories, and created a warm, friendly atmosphere where she quickly settled and felt special.
Mum adored the gardens and especially loved sitting by the fishpond, watching the beautiful, enormous fish.
We are deeply grateful to the wonderful staff who gave Mum extra years that felt meaningful and happy. I would wholeheartedly recommend Camberley Manor to any family who wants the very best care for their loved one.

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
My mum sadly passed away last week after spending three and a half years at Camberley Manor Care Home, and I want to express my heartfelt thanks to all the staff.

Following a major operation in 2022, Mum had extremely complex medical needs and was given a very limited prognosis in hospital. Thanks

to the exceptional nursing care, skill and dedication shown by Camberley Manor, we were blessed with an extra three and a half precious years with her.

The carers, nurses and management were consistently professional, kind and compassionate. Over time they became genuinely fond of Mum, and she of them. She felt safe, comfortable and content throughout her time there, and our whole family always felt reassured she was in the best possible hands.

The support from their physiotherapy partner was also excellent and greatly appreciated.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for caring for my wonderful mum so well.

Reply from Amber Luscombe, Business Development Manager at Camberley ManorPlease accept our heartfelt condolences from everyone here at the home. Your mum was part of our family for over three years, and in that time she brought so much warmth, character and companionship to our team. She was incredibly special to us all. The home simply won't feel the same without her. It was an honour and a privilege to care for her and to support her, and you as a family, during her time with us.
We really appreciate you taking the time to share your kind words about your mum's time with us, during what is understandably a difficult time for yourselves. It truly means a great deal to the whole team.
Our thoughts are with you and your family, and if there is ever anything we can do, please don't hesitate to reach out.
