His talents as a singer, often in the entrance area/open area, clearly entertain people who enjoy the positive atmosphere promoted. Today the quizz he led was interesting & triggered the memory. The production of "Daily Sparkle" is to be commended as is the promotion of music at the bedside. These interventions promote the quality of life of the residents. Thank you all.

The care home has been a great place for my grandma, she staff are extremely friendly and accommodating and she has been very happy here. The activities are very diverse and it is extremely clean. Thank you!

The close cooperation by Carlton Court with Hospitals was truly impressive, this over a period of four days when my mother had pneumonia. My mother has been happy with her care throughout and often mentions how gently she is treated. The care team in particular are unfailingly polite and responsive concerning transfer from wheelchair to bed at weekends.

I was very impressed with Carlton Court. My father chose to move into a nursing home when his mobility needs became more than his carer could handle. He was aware that he probably wouldn't be here long. But the staff made his stay as comfortable as possible, always encouraging him to get up and get out his room. They put on a lovely party for his 102nd birthday which was a lovely surprise to me. And it was a fun afternoon. I am very grateful to Carlton Court.

My stepmother became a resident here two years ago when we, as a family, recognised she needed a level of care we could not provide at home. We chose Cherry Hinton due to its strong CQC rating and positive reviews. The facilities are clean, modern, and well maintained with a variety of activities offered. Staff have consistently shown professionalism, kindness and compassion, not only to residents, but also to dad, who spent most of his time there. At busier times, care routines can occasionally be disrupted with the need for reminders, however, staff continue to work hard to maintain high standards and ensure residents' needs are met. Of particular note was the care provided in her final days. In the last 48 hours of her life, she was treated with great dignity and sensitivity, and staff supported our family throughout, for which we are deeply grateful. Overall, we are confident we made the right decision and would highly recommend this home.

My father came to Karuna Manor in January 2026 and the experience has been really positive. The care received has been second to none. All the support staff have been very attentive and responsive. They have truly gotten to know my dad and understand his routines and preferences. When my father attended Karuna Manor he was very ill and poorly but the staff managed to nurse him back to health. The activities etam run music sessions, arts and crafts, maths sessions that Dad actually enjoys. Meals are nutritious and they accommodate his requirements. Overall Dad is in a safe, happy, well-cared-for environment.

We are leaving Cuffley Manor for the last time, after our mother passed away peacefully. She stayed for a little over three years. During that time, while she missed her home, she never had a complaint or asked for a change. Breakfast in bed wasn't a treat, it was an everyday privilege. She very much enjoyed the activities until at 97 she was unable to participate. The care she received was excellent at all times especially towards the end when it was exceptional.

Following the sad passing of my father, we realised our mother was struggling on her own. Following a fall, she went to Camberley Manor for respite care. She was obviously apprehensive as a lot of tragic change had happened in her life. Following a period of around a month she really started to become her old self again. She felt safe and cared for. She started to join in the activities and make friends. After 3 months she is fighting fit and so happy and well! I really cannot thank the team enough. They are all amazing!

We found the home clean and the staff friendly, however in my opinion the palleative care given to my mother was not adequate. She was there less than a month and I had to email twice to request that they check on her more often because so was so unwell and frail. They said they would look into it but nothing changed and as a result, mum was left to die alone.

I have come here on a trial stay for 3 weeks but I have decided that I am staying here forever. I like this home very much. I have got the most beautiful 2-bedroom flat on Mill Hill, lovely location and area, you can see the Famous "Good Earth Res". My place is very large, master bedroom, 2nd bedroom. Jishaw, Amet, Sheha, Aheri, Rehene. I have told them that I will stay here. I am going to have to sell flat and come here.

Extremely impressed with care and attention given to residents and visitors alike, everyone treated with dignity and personal friendship. Amazed to see all the facilities available to keep the residents occupied each day and the number of external outings that are arranged. Food is excellent and beautifully presented. Gardens are beautiful, staff very professional and welcoming, and the surroundings and rooms pristine. Home from home. Well done!

The love & care provided to our dad during his time here was second to none. The staff went out of their way to look after all of us during our visits too. Thank you for everything.

My father was here for a very short time, unfortunately he passed away in hospital soon after he arrived. Staff here have been so welcoming and supportive. I felt his needs where completely met and at such a high standard. Carlton Court is a wonderful place with excellent people.

Candlewood House provides and excellent care all the staff are very friendly making patients and family at ease. The cleanliness of the place is great. A very reliable and friendly place to be.

My husband has been a resident for 8 months, and from day one the whole experience has felt reassuring and genuinely warm. What really stands out is the attitude of the staff - every since person you encounter, whatever they're doing, greets you with a smile and makes you feel truly welcome. It's also really clear that the care here isn't just about the residents - families matter too. Staff don't just respond to situations as they arise; they proactively suggest and initiate approaches that bring additional reassurance to both residents and their families. That kind of thoughtfulness makes an enormous difference and gives us real peace of mind. The activities are brilliantly organised - you can see a lot of thought goes into the planning, and it shows in how engaged the residents are. Keeping families in the loop clearly matters here too. Communication is regular, consistent and always reassuring - I never have to chase for updates. If you're facing the difficult task of finding the right care home for someone you love, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this one.

My wife and I cannot fault the warmth and sincere approach shown by all staff after the admission of my dying father to the home. He was attended to most professionally by all. We were however, somewhat disappointed that it was at least 2 days after his death, that verbal confirmation was provided to us that his body had been transferred to the undertaker. To note that his death did occur over a bank holiday weekend but your internal systems (including attendance of GP) to certify death should accommodate holiday periods.

But most importantly, the effort that goes into caring for the residents is absolutely amazing, there is daily entertainment 3 times a day, 7 days a week, where they can participate in all manner of activities, excursions can be had to various localities and everyone is encouraged to participate and this has really benefitted my mother in law who has blossomed over the past 6 months, a big thank you to everyone for your efforts.
