We were very worried about placing him in a care home - especially as I live so far away in America. The staff and the facility itself have been a god send - my dad adores all the staff. They are very caring and make sure he is well taken care of. The home is very clean and the food is delicious. They try and engage him in the activities at the center. I am very happy with the care provided to him & my mind is at ease - he considers them all as members of our family.

My father came to Karuna Manor in January 2026 and the experience has been really positive. The care received has been second to none. All the support staff have been very attentive and responsive. They have truly gotten to know my dad and understand his routines and preferences. When my father attended Karuna Manor he was very ill and poorly but the staff managed to nurse him back to health. The activities etam run music sessions, arts and crafts, maths sessions that Dad actually enjoys. Meals are nutritious and they accommodate his requirements. I had a wonderful holiday after 10 years and this was done by Karuna Manor's help. My husband, who is a dementia patient, does not want to go home.
