Nearly after waiting 20 years I found this home for my husband's respite. Since 2007 I wanted this place for my husband. I had a wonderful holiday after 10 years and this was done by Karuna Manor's help. My husband, who is a dementia patient, does not want to go home. I keep saying that I have chosen
the best place for him. I am also grateful that they extended his stay 3 more days to recover me from my holiday. Below my crosses explain how happy and thankful of whole staff I am. Even I had wonderful our 60th wedding anniversary cake baked in home.

We have experienced amazing service at Karuna Manor. All the management & care staff have been so brilliant with my dad, who is 108 years old. We all visit all the time and never felt unwelcome, even at late evenings. I would definitely want to come and stay here when I need care in the future.

is so tasty, we have had family dinner at Diwali, KM provided a private family dining facility.

The (resident) wife has been at Karuna Manor for five months and have been very happy with the running of the home and the staff are very helpful in looking after my wife. Most impressive is the cleanliness of the premises and the activities. We who come here to be with the residents are happy that

Mum spent the last year of her life at Karuna Manor. I was very reluctant to send Mum to a care home. However, Mum really flourished at Karuna Manor. The staff and facilities were exceptional. I could not have asked for anything more.

My sister is resident at Karuna Manor for the past 7+ years. I am the main contact point. Karuna's manager and nursing staff always stay in touch with me, keeping me informed at all times. Quality of care is absolutely amazing. They also have regular entertainment and we get invitations to attend. Well

Karuna has been a wonderful place for my mother who came here a year ago almost on her death bed but now if you see her she is full of life and enjoys the activities and also the activities and outings. Recently, she attended 2 outings at the leisure centre.

Seen a few homes for my sister-in-law. I fell in love with Karuna and because of her age she was rejected then I applied again in September 2024 and due to her doctor's report which was incorrect, she was rejected again but I never gave up. Now in January 2025 tried again and she moved in on the 31st
of January 2025 and can see her so happy and lots of changes and improvements in her due to her care. Staff are unbelievable.

I am extremely happy with the care being received for my dad from Karuna Manor. They've welcomed him here and made it feel like home. And his overall mental well-being is in a much better state. All the staff are very supportive and cater to all his needs.

My mum has been at the Karuna Care Home for over 8 years. It provides excellent compassionate care. Thanks to all the staff who are very well trained and friendly, always with a smile. A huge thanks to the catering team for the outstanding quality, consistency, and choice of meals even for strict dietary
requirements. Not to forget the entertainment team who show boundless energy and enthusiasm in engaging with the residents. They are all a second family to us.

Payal Chhabra has been an accomplished professional in the healthcare sector since 2005, with over 18 years of experience in delivering high-quality care and leading teams to success. She joined TLC in 2019 and has since become a valued and respected member of the organisation, known for her strong leadership, strategic vision, and unwavering commitment to resident well-being.


For the past five years, Payal has served as Home Manager at Karuna Manor, where she was instrumental in driving the home to achieve an Outstanding rating. Under her leadership, the home flourished through her focus on exceptional care standards, robust team development, and meaningful engagement with families and the wider community. Her ability to balance operational excellence with compassion has consistently set her apart as an inspiring leader in the sector.

Job Title: Business Development Manager Joined: 2024

Before I arrived in the UK, I had the privilege of working in Sales and Marketing for almost four years, which has equipped me with excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain positive relationships with all the stakeholders.


In December 2022, I joined our sister care home Kailash Manor, as an Assistant Business Development Manager. During my tenure, I developed strong relationships with both the team and residents and provided support to other TLC homes as well. This experience has instilled in me a sense of responsibility towards the community and a desire to make a positive impact.


I am thrilled to have joined the team at Karuna Manor in August 2024, and I am confident that I will be able to establish good relationships with the residents and their families. I look forward to leveraging my skills and experience to contribute positively to the team’s success.

After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Nursing in 2003. I have worked in various departments in both medical and surgical settings, gaining over 18 years of experience along the way.


I joined the TLC family in 2015 and am pleased to say that I have been promoted to the role of Care Services Manager.


I’m honoured to be working with a very dedicated team and amazing residents at Karuna Manor.
