Seen a few homes for my sister-in-law. I fell in love with Karuna and because of her age she was rejected then I applied again in September 2024 and due to her doctor's report which was incorrect, she was rejected again but I never gave up. Now in January 2025 tried again and she moved in on the 31st
of January 2025 and can see her so happy and lots of changes and improvements in her due to her care. Staff are unbelievable.

I am extremely happy with the care being received for my dad from Karuna Manor. They've welcomed him here and made it feel like home. And his overall mental well-being is in a much better state. All the staff are very supportive and cater to all his needs.

My mum has been at the Karuna Care Home for over 8 years. It provides excellent compassionate care. Thanks to all the staff who are very well trained and friendly, always with a smile. A huge thanks to the catering team for the outstanding quality, consistency, and choice of meals even for strict dietary
requirements. Not to forget the entertainment team who show boundless energy and enthusiasm in engaging with the residents. They are all a second family to us.

My sister was at Karuna Manor for the last 7 years. She was very happy here with food, care and the wide range of activities provided by the care home. She enjoyed all the religious festivals celebrated. All the staff were very courteous and encouraged her. My family appreciated the weekly video calls
with my sister as some of them lived far away and could not visit her regularly. Communication with staff regarding care was excellent.

A heartfelt thank you to Karuna Manor staff for caring for my late mother and father. You are, for us, a beacon of good practice. Your team are thoughtful and nurturing. This is very carefully laid out as part of the well-being element which is critical to the holistic approach of caring for the patients
but it goes beyond, much, much more as you made the family feel calm that our beloved parents were in good safe hands with us being away from London this was comforting and helped the wellbeing dynamic for our family. My relative is a resident at Karuna Manor Care Home, whom I visit regularly. On my recent visit on the 10th of November 2023, Karuna Manor had organised an amazing singing group for the residents as a Diwali celebration. All the residents seemed to enjoy the music and the songs. They also provided light
foods and soft drinks for everyone. I have witnessed personally all the effort and genuine care Karuna Manor and all the staff provide to its residents. Well done, everyone, at Karuna Manor.

My mum has been a resident of Karuna Manor since 2016. I feel blessed to have found such a beautiful home for my mum who requires dementia care. All staff, ranging from carers, nurses, admin staff, priests, maintenance, cleaning staff, and wellbeing coordinators all the way to management, are all so
respectful and caring towards Mum. They all know her individually and understand what she needs. The food is also of top quality. I have no hesitation in recommending Karuna to anyone. In summary, Mum is very well cared for.

For the past five years, Payal has served as Home Manager at Karuna Manor, where she was instrumental in driving the home to achieve an Outstanding rating. Under her leadership, the home flourished through her focus on exceptional care standards, robust team development, and meaningful engagement with families and the wider community. Before I arrived in the UK, I had the privilege of working in Sales and Marketing for almost four years, which has equipped me with excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain positive relationships with all the stakeholders.


In December 2022, I joined our sister care home Kailash Manor, as an Assistant Business Development Manager. During my tenure, I developed strong relationships with both the team and residents and provided support to other TLC homes as well. This experience has instilled in me a sense of responsibility towards the community and a desire to make a positive impact.


I am thrilled to have joined the team at Karuna Manor in August 2024, and I am confident that I will be able to establish good relationships with the residents and their families. I look forward to leveraging my skills and experience to contribute positively to the team’s success.

After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Nursing in 2003. I have worked in various departments in both medical and surgical settings, gaining over 18 years of experience along the way.


I joined the TLC family in 2015 and am pleased to say that I have been promoted to the role of Care Services Manager.

I relocated to the UK in 2022 after eight years of nursing experience in Nigeria, primarily in occupational health. My academic foundation is in public health nursing, and I’m currently completing a Master’s in International Public Health. I’m also a registered Adult Nurse in the UK.


My UK journey began in a care home, where I developed strong clinical skills and a deep understanding of elderly care. I later progressed to a Deputy Manager role, gaining valuable experience in operations and people management, particularly how to support team members in using their skills, experience, and strengths to contribute meaningfully to the organisation.?


Although I didn’t start with a formal background in education, I’ve always had a passion for teaching. From 2018 to 2022, I was a Basic Life Support instructor in Nigeria, training healthcare professionals in CPR and resuscitation. I enjoy sharing knowledge and building confidence in others, which led me to take on the role of Practice Development Lead at TLC.


I’m committed to making a meaningful impact by promoting a culture of learning, growth, and excellence, guided by TLC’s values of Truth, Love, and Compassion. My goal is to help create a safe, supportive environment for staff and a true home for our residents.
