My mum has been at Kailash Manor since June 2026, and has settled in very well. The care and environment which is very cultural and accomodating to celebrate all events.

Thank you Candlewood, for all your warmth, welcome and care, not just towards the residents, but for those who care for them also. You make a difference!

My father has been a resident at Karuna Manor for the last 3 months. Following his stroke, we were unable to provide the care he needed at home - it was unsafe and his needs surpassed our ability to meet his basic daily requirements. We were very worried about placing him in a care home - especially as I live so far away in America. The staff and the facility itself have been a god send - my dad adores all the staff. They are very caring and make sure he is well taken care of. The home is very clean and the food is delicious. They try and engage him in the activities at the center. I am very happy with the care provided to him & my mind is at ease - he considers them all as members of our family.

As you enter the care home you feel a sense of calm. There is a lovely atmosphere - very peaceful a sense of caring, there is a very high standard of cleanliness throughout. Staff are very pleasant, very caring and approachable. My sister in law speaks highly of the staff very kind and caring. Thank you Carlton Care Home.

We have been extremely impressed with the care our mother is receiving at Carlton Care Home. From the moment you enter, it is clear that the home maintains exceptionally high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation, both in the communal areas and in the patients' rooms. What stands out most is the genuine care & attention given to each resident. My mother receives excellent support with her personal needs and mobility, & we are particularly impressed by the quality of food & presentation each day. The home also creates a welcoming environment for visitors. The staff are friendly, compassionate and attentive and always willing to give details about my mother's well being. CCH has set a standard by which other care homes should be judged. A big thank you to the entire team. Your care makes a real difference to residents & families.

Fantastic facilities, care and service provided to my grandma. Bhavna and the team are excellent. Settled in very well and made comfortable with such a big change. Fantastic culture throughout with many services/offerings for her to participate in. She really enjoyed the cooking activities today!

My experience on my first visit was remarkable. I was left feeling very positive. The first thing I noticed was the welcoming service, the staff were professional and nothing was too much. Bhavna showed me around, she was amazing, knowledgeable and an asset. Ketoa very helpful. The unit manager Debbie + CJ, ensured my aunties medical support was fully addressed. Sneha + Sweta made sure she was settled and made sure she was settled and made sure they went through all the activities. I can see the residents are well looked after like family. I felt this place matched a 5* hotel, the deco, atmosphere + the smell made it an unforgettable experience.

When my mother first came to Karuna Manor She was very confused and the staff have really helped her. She's well settled and has put on weight. We have never seen her in stained clothes, her bed sheets are clean, spotless. One of her friends described this Home as the "Taj Hotel". We are very happy with her care

A wonderful stay for me. I extended it, because of the excellent support from nursing staff, support staff and especially physio.

Our father just passed away in this home and they made the palliative period so special for our father (and our mother and us when we visited). He was always clean and attention given in good time when he called for it. We were glad he ended up here rather than other care homes we have encountered. We love the nurses and care staff very much and - the food is the best in the world too.

Our mother also stayed for a week for respite care too and she was well cared for and safe in a stressful time. Much gratitude to all for your hard work and positivity and the people and relatives you support.

The close cooperation by Carlton Court with Hospitals was truly impressive, this over a period of four days when my mother had pneumonia. My mother has been happy with her care throughout and often mentions how gently she is treated. The care team in particular are unfailingly polite and responsive concerning transfer from wheelchair to bed at weekends.

I was very impressed with Carlton Court. My father chose to move into a nursing home when his mobility needs became more than his carer could handle. He was aware that he probably wouldn't be here long. But the staff made his stay as comfortable as possible, always encouraging him to get up and get out his room. They put on a lovely party for his 102nd birthday which was a lovely surprise to me. And it was a fun afternoon. I am very grateful to Carlton Court.

My father came to Karuna Manor in January 2026 and the experience has been really positive. The care received has been second to none. All the support staff have been very attentive and responsive. They have truly gotten to know my dad and understand his routines and preferences. When my father attended Karuna Manor he was very ill and poorly but the staff managed to nurse him back to health. The activities etam run music sessions, arts and crafts, maths sessions that Dad actually enjoys. Meals are nutritious and they accommodate his requirements. Overall Dad is in a safe, happy, well-cared-for environment.

We found the home clean and the staff friendly, however in my opinion the palleative care given to my mother was not adequate. She was there less than a month and I had to email twice to request that they check on her more often because so was so unwell and frail. They said they would look into it but nothing changed and as a result, mum was left to die alone.

I have come here on a trial stay for 3 weeks but I have decided that I am staying here forever. I like this home very much. I have got the most beautiful 2-bedroom flat on Mill Hill, lovely location and area, you can see the Famous "Good Earth Res". My place is very large, master bedroom, 2nd bedroom. Jishaw, Amet, Sheha, Aheri, Rehene. I have told them that I will stay here. I am going to have to sell flat and come here.

My father was here for a very short time, unfortunately he passed away in hospital soon after he arrived. Staff here have been so welcoming and supportive. I felt his needs where completely met and at such a high standard. Carlton Court is a wonderful place with excellent people.

Candlewood House provides and excellent care all the staff are very friendly making patients and family at ease. The cleanliness of the place is great. A very reliable and friendly place to be.

My wife and I cannot fault the warmth and sincere approach shown by all staff after the admission of my dying father to the home. He was attended to most professionally by all. We were however, somewhat disappointed that it was at least 2 days after his death, that verbal confirmation was provided to us that his body had been transferred to the undertaker. To note that his death did occur over a bank holiday weekend but your internal systems (including attendance of GP) to certify death should accommodate holiday periods.
