Jian has been instrumental in championing TLC’s Investors in People (IIP) Platinum accreditation, reflecting her excellence in both staff engagement and resident support. As a qualified mental health first aider, she also plays a vital role in promoting team wellbeing.

Her inclusive, democratic leadership style empowers her team to deliver truly person-centred care. Initiatives like partnering with Buck Dental Hygienist Service reflect her proactive approach to enhancing residents’ quality of life and her deep commitment to broader community health and impact.

Aga brings a wealth of expertise to her role in Business Development at Cherry Hinton Care Home, combining her dynamic experience in aerospace and design consultancy with a strong background in key account management, operations management, and facilities and office management. Her career spans diverse roles, showcasing her ability to foster meaningful client relationships, drive operational efficiency, and deliver exceptional service. Aga’s strategic mindset and organisational skills are pivotal in enhancing Cherry Hinton’s care offerings and establishing strong partnerships within the community.

My name is Jessy John, and I am excited to have recently joined TLC, Cherry Hinton Care Home on 11/11/24. Before this, I spent 19 years working with another provider, where I held various roles, including team leader, deputy manager, and Home manager, and worked as a registered nurse. These experiences have allowed me to develop knowledge and skills I am eager to share with the team. At the same time, I’m committed to learning from each of you and embracing new growth opportunities.

PDL’s are primarily focused on ensuring care standards and practices for their respective home.
They are also responsible for supporting the learning and development objectives across their home and at group level.
I am a registered nurse with over a decade of experience in elderly nursing. I started my nursing journey in New Zealand with an acute medical/surgical background, theatre and community mental health nursing. Since arriving in the UK in 2015, my experience has been care home based and my previous role before joining TLC was Regional Clinical Trainer for a large care home company.
I joined TLC in June 2025, and I am very excited about the new role, supporting staff and being part of the team at Cherry Hinton.

I have had the privilege of serving as Hotel Services Manager and Head Chef at Cherry Hinton Care Home for over six years. Originally from the small island state of Grenada, I bring with me a lifelong passion for hospitality, deeply rooted in the culture and natural beauty of my homeland. In Grenada, hospitality is more than an industry; it is a way of life, woven seamlessly into our connection with people and nature.

My career in hospitality began in Grenada, where I developed a profound appreciation for service excellence within natural, sustainable environments. This philosophy continues to shape my professional practice, as I strive to create welcoming, nurturing settings that honour both people and the environment.

Care, catering, innovation, and sustainability have become increasingly important focus for me, driven by a strong desire for continuous learning and the pursuit of new challenges. I am passionate about integrating sustainable principles into every aspect of my work, ensuring that the hospitality experience is not only of the highest standard but also respectful of the world around us.

I am committed to delivering exceptional service with authenticity, warmth, and integrity, while embracing opportunities for growth and innovation within the hospitality sector.

I started out as a Head Housekeeper here at Cherry Hinton Care Home in 2019 and then went on to become the Admin Assistant where she was for 1.5 years. I left the company for a short break and have now rejoined as HR and Finance Manager. I am passionate about building relationships with the residents here at Cherry Hinton and also the relatives who I have got to know over the years. I am looking forward to the future here at Cherry Hinton Care Home.

I began my journey as an Activities Coordinator and have since progressed into my current role which reflects my ongoing commitment to enhancing the wellbeing of our residents.

With a background in psychology and a strong passion for mental health, I am dedicated to creating a safe, inclusive and non-judgemental environment for both our residents and team members. I have a deep interest in understanding human behaviour and strive each day to build meaningful connections, ensuring that everyone in our care feels truly seen, heard and at home.

My role enables me to design and deliver person-centred wellbeing initiatives that are uplifting, purposeful and rooted in empathy. In addition, I am a certified Mental Health First Aider and proudly serve as a Community Engagement Champion helping to foster strong relationships between our home and the wider community.

With nearly a decade of experience in childcare, Shannon transitioned to her current role as Office Manager at Cherry Hinton Care Home over two years ago. In her position, she provides vital support to the Business Support Manager, specifically in areas of HR and finances, ensuring smooth operations and effective administration.

Beyond her office management duties, Shannon plays a key role in fostering a positive and supportive workplace as the Engagement Champion. She is also a qualified Mental Health First Aider, offering support to colleagues and promoting well-being across the team. Additionally, Shannon serves as the Onboarding Coach, guiding new staff through a welcoming and structured induction process.

Her time at Cherry Hinton Care Home has been a fulfilling journey of growth and learning. Embracing opportunities for personal and professional development, she has contributed to building a dynamic and compassionate environment for both staff and residents.

The Head Housekeeper is responsible for managing the Housekeeping and Laundry Team.
The Head Housekeeper reports to the Hotel Services Manager. 
I joined TLC in 2023 as a Carer, I've progressed to Head Housekeeper. With seven years of hospitality experience, I'm dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and care. I ensure all regulatory standards are met and our housekeeping effectively supports the home's infrastructure.
