My father has been a resident at Cherry Hinton for the past ten months, he was well looked after by the kind attentive team at Cherry Hinton. He was quite sad to leave but as he is moving closer to family to facilitate more frequent visits, in his best interests. The team took the time to get to know him, what he likes and what he does not. I can't praise the whole team there enough and was particularly pleased with the support received during quite a stressful time for Dad, towards the end of his stay. The location and facilities are nice with access to a nice garden and nice walks close by. Thank you to everyone at Cherry Hinton :)

I recently visited my friend at the care home, and it was a truly wonderful experience. I could tell how happy my friend was, thanks to the delicious food, the kind staff, and the varied activities. Thank you to the operations team for their dedication in running such a lovely place.

From the initial search for a suitable Care Home for Mum through to now, after two years of residency, I have nothing but praise for the support and responsiveness to Mum and family from the Manager and ALL staff. At all times Mum has received loving support and care through encouragement, patience and diligence and all in a highly professional manner. Any medical or day-to-day concerns have been worked through and resolved effectively with respect for all concerned, always considering the needs of Mum first and foremost. The Care Home facilities and ways of working are first rate, with attention to details in all areas ensuring a very high standard of care and support for Mum, in a warm, friendly and family-orientated environment. A variety of tailored physical and social activities ensure that Mum is kept active, physically and mentally, in line with her individual needs. Overall, I highly recommend Cherry Hinton Care Home and reiterate my praise and gratitude to ALL involved.

The staff have been a great help at assisting our family transition into a 'new normal'. Not just helping my father settle in, but also helping the rest of the family adjust too. Their concern & help spanned the whole family & making sure we were all happy & doing the best for all of us.

I am very satisfied with the care my relation gets, the staff are friendly and the varied activities excellent. I am happy to recommend the home. The residents are treated with respect, the dining tables always nicely dressed and reception is always welcoming.

My mother has been here since August 2024, having been in another care home, which was horrible and she wasn't happy. We managed to get my mum into this home, first impressions were absolutely outstanding; we were so relieved to get mum somewhere where she was happy and so very well looked after. The staff continue to be outstanding. Thank you for all you do for my mum.

In general, the home is very focused on keeping residents as active as possible, an indication of which is the Tai Chi activity this afternoon (which appeared to motivate the majority of the residents), among many other varied activities, which go on on a regular basis.

This is my new home now, I was welcomed in by a very excellent manager and reception staff. The nurses here are so caring and very helpful and are very kind. The food is very thoughtfully prepared by a good cook. I cannot speak high enough and am very happy here.

Everyone is always very friendly and always seems to take great care of our dear friend. Menu always sounds great and we've heard about some really nice events. Very sweet that there's a snack and drink station in the entrance too.

My family and I were delighted with the care and affection my husband received during his time at Cherry Hinton. He was referred after being diagnosed with a terminal illness at the hospital. We are very appreciative of the support we received from all the staff and committee. Thank you all very much.

Sadly my Dad was only with you for three weeks but I've got to say that during those three weeks, he experienced nothing but 100% care and dedication from your team when I asked him if he was happy he said he was. The home was well-maintained very welcoming and very clean. The food was exceptional standard and my Dad did say he enjoyed that they put on a barbecue with live music which my Dad said was a wonderful day and he enjoyed it. I want to thank all the staff from management down to the domestics for their love and support for my Dad and his last three weeks of life.

My nan has been a resident at Cherry Hinton care home for just over a month now and has really settled in. This was a big move and I can say it has really changed her life for the better. From the social element of other residents and the friendly and helpful nature of all members of staff, myself and my family couldn't be happier.

After visiting my grandad over the weekend, I wanted to update my review and share my thoughts on the care home. This place is amazing, over the previous weekend all the residents were outside partying and enjoying themselves in the garden. It was such a wonderful experience, with many smiles all around. I have visited my grandfather several times at Cherry Hinton Care Home and have always been impressed by the experience. The facility is consistently clean and well-maintained, creating a pleasant environment for residents and visitors alike. The staff are invariably polite, respectful, and attentive, ensuring that all the residents receive the best possible care. I am grateful for the peace of mind knowing my grandfather is in such capable and caring hands.

I visit a friend with my Mum every couple of weeks. The home is always lovely and clean - the team is always happy to help. Couldn't be happier and my friend is always happy and so positive about the place.

Outstanding care from all the staff who show genuine care and understanding for each resident. The range of activities and facilities is excellent. Visitors are made to feel welcome and included care and support is very special.

Very, very helpful staff and everyone seems so happy. A joy to see the staff interact with the residents and a pleasure to visit. I was also impressed by how clean and fresh everything was. My friend seems so happy talking to the other residents; she was living on her own, so it has to be so good for her.

TLC Cherry Hilton Care Home is an environment where the residents are truly the heartbeat of the organisation. A well-organised and cohesive team provides loving and compassionate care for my terminally ill Father (cleaners to home manager and nurses). The focus is all about living, providing enrichment and memories including a wonderful last hurrah.

Cherry Hinton Care Home is such a wonderful place. My grandad is so happy there and the food is great. We went to quite a few different ones to have a look at but found Cherry Hinton to be the most homely.

Our mother was poorly when we moved her to the nursing wing of TLC Home but as a family, we were very pleased we had chosen this Home. Mum received excellent care and as a family, we felt we were looked after as well through a very sad time for us. All the staff were very kind, attentive, courteous and professional. We knew Mum was in safe hands, very, very important at a stressful time.
