I arrived at Camberley Manor after an emergency major operation at the hospital. The TLC I have received here from all the staff has put me back together again. The nurses and carer are professional, and all the staff are helpful and kind. The atmosphere is jolly, and that has really aided my recovery.
I would certainly come back here, should I need to, and recommend it to others.

My mother-in-law moved into Camberley Manor when she became unable to live by herself. The communication with the home from the start has been first rate. Every query we have had has been promptly dealt with and, more importantly, the staff have been proactive in informing us of how she is getting on.
This has been especially reassuring as due to Covid restrictions visiting has had to be limited. We feel confident that we will be informed of any change or issue immediately. The home have also made use of Facebook to show photos of the residents which has given us some insight into what my mother-in-law has been getting up to. It has been good to see her joining in with lots of varied activities and celebrating birthdays and other special days. She is doing more than she did at home!
The carers are lovely and kind as well as professional. It is a huge relief to know that my mother-in-law is safe and having her physical and mental needs met in such a beautiful environment.

Too early to comment on the functioning of the home, but all good so far, 2 days in. This review is about the pre-home/check-in process for which we cannot thank the community development manager and the care services manager enough. They were very helpful with our initial evaluation and the community
development manager answered all the questions helpfully and professionally (my sister is a nurse practitioner). Once we had chosen them, the care services manager offered to manage the whole process of moving our mother from the hospital which was a great relief. The community development manager was also very helpful and knowledegable about the funding options. It was very complicated and difficult as my mother had Covid and is terminally ill with cancer. Both managers worked brilliantly together covering both the medical and admin. There were lots of problems with the hospital and we all worked together as a great team to get Mum out. Mother hated every minute in the hospital and was desperate to get out. Since being out she is a different woman and feels like she is living in a luxury hotel. Thanks guys.

I always feel happy when I see my mother-in-law. She is always well dressed, nice hair etc. The management and staff are always polite, friendly and very helpful. I feel she is cared for.

It is always a difficult decision to put a parent into a nursing home, especially when they have always been there for you throughout your life. Unfortunately, my Mum was suffering and really needed full-time care, she had struggled valiantly for the past few years but it had all become too much.
We
looked at many Nursing homes, all well rated, some were surprising awful. So when we found Camberley Manor, it was more like a small luxury hotel with very caring and welcoming staff, who took the time to understand my Mum’s needs. It has been a difficult transition for my Mum, however, I must say the care is outstanding, nothing is too much trouble and my Mum looks better four weeks in than she did five years ago.
I have been particularly impressed with the staff, in particular, the Community development manager and the Unit manager assistance nurse, who have kept me up to date with Mum’s progress and truly care about how she is. I personally could not ask for more, being reassured that the whole team truly care for the residents.

Cannot praise the staff enough for looking after my mother-in-law. She needs constant encouragement to eat and drink and, if not for the staff, I truly believe she would not be with us now. They know how to encourage her and coax her into eating. The staff are amazing and keep us fully up-to-date with

My sister was moved from hospital to Camberley Manor in April in the early days of Covid-19, because of COVID we could not visit her, but the staff were great, so helpful and friendly whenever I telephoned. I loved being able to see the daily photos on the Camberley Manor Facebook Pages of the amazing
activities and all the fun. It was such a comfort to see my sister’s smiling face enjoying herself and in beautiful surroundings. During my sister’s final days, the staff were so caring and supportive. We were able to visit to be with her one last time. The staff were extremely professional, following all the required safeguards but also kind and considerate. I am so grateful that my sister was in Camberley Manor during her final illness, I am convinced that the care was second to none and that she could not have been in a better place.

Mum has Alzhiemers and experienced a quick decline over lockdown which resulted in her moving to Camberley Manor after a spell in hospital.
As a family we have looked after Mum but in our hearts, we knew Mum needed 24/7 specialist dementia care. Camberley Manor took mum in with open arms and us as
a family. Mum is thriving there, she looks 10 years younger and is having more fun than us.
Camberley Manor's communication with us has been outstanding. The staff have been brilliant, especially in the beginning he helped so much with the transition. We were welcomed with warmth by everyone who is involved with Mum's care, those I have met, and I am sure there are plenty more who we are yet to meet.
COVID makes visiting Mum difficult, she is still upset with us when we talk to her, however, I know she is having fun again! I have seen the pictures. Mum, prior to moving to Camberley Manor, was just existing at home, she is now living again. Thank you Camberley Manor.

After moving my Nan (who has vascular dementia) into Camberley Manor at short notice, unexpectedly following a partial hip replacement and during COVID-19, I can safely say that I could not wish for anything more in a care home. The facilities are amazing compared to any other home I've viewed and it's
worth every penny. All of the staff have been incredible at helping her settle in over the past 5 weeks, encouraging her to participate in activities and updating me regularly. They've even been able to identify changes in her behaviour already and have gotten the GP involved straight away each time. I can't thank them enough and would recommend the home to anyone.

The staff were always courteous, fun, respectful and welcoming, making the difficult decision to move my father into a care home that much easier to comes to terms with. The transition for my father was challenging at times but a necessity to ensure he remained safe and well cared for while on his dementia
journey. He was treated with care, dignity and respect and encouraged to participate in the numerous options of activities available to residents. As a family, we were always made to feel welcome and were included in decisions regarding his care. The support provided to us all was invaluable during his end of life care; in particular, the compassion shown by the entire team, including catering, nursing, management and the support staff demonstrates a team to be proud of and embodies the ethos of the entire care home.

The care and nursing staff at Camberley Manor are exemplary. There are very few care homes who go so above and beyond in their duty of care to their residents. My relative has complex needs and is treated with kindness and compassion and her physical health is well taken care of. It is of great relief
that my relative is happy where she is and I have no anxieties about her needs being met. The staff are open and communicative and keep me updated. They are polite, helpful and professional and best of all find time to keep the residents happy. I am very grateful to the care and nursing staff.

Beautiful care home, Dad is really poorly but seems to have perked up a little since residing there.
It looks more like a lovely hotel to what I expected of a care home.
Staff are very friendly and attentive to my father, also very informative when we call for an update.
Mum and I are ready to move
in.
We haven't seen Dad's room yet but this is clearly due to Covid 19 but we are sure it is just as lovely as the rest of the place. I have seen pictures on the website which are very impressive.

My mum was moved to the care home from hospital during lockdown; which was an awful time as the family were unable to settle Mum into the home. The manger and his team have been fantastic at giving us regular emails and phone calls to update us about how mum is settling in and even arranged a couple
of video calls to mum. This was so lovely as it has been so hard not being able to see her. We are on their social media page and see lots of pictures of Mum smiling and doing various activities which are so varied. They have also had an opera singer and Scotsman playing the bagpipes to the residents outside of the home. The facilities and staff are second to none. We speak to Mum daily, and she’s always telling us about the amazing meals she has had and how lovely all the different staff that interact with her are. The home has a real homely feel, and Mum feels really settled, which we didn’t expect as she has vascular dementia, so gets very confused easily. Highly recommend this care home.

Job Title: Care Service Manager Joined: 2022

Albert Joy joined Camberley Manor in October 2022 as Care Services Manager.


A qualified Registered Nurse since 2010, Albert completed his training in India and brings over eight years of diverse clinical experience across hospital and pre-hospital settings in India, Dubai, and the UK. He has a strong background in accident and emergency care and most recently served as a Deputy Charge Nurse within the NHS, where he further honed his clinical expertise and leadership capabilities.


Albert was drawn to the TLC Group by its commitment to creating an exceptional workplace and a cohesive team environment focused on delivering the highest standards of care to residents.

Jade Smith

Job Title: Hotel Services Manager Joined: 2021

Jade began her journey with TLC in May 2021 as Head Chef at Camberley Manor, bringing with her over a decade of experience in the hospitality industry. Inspired by TLC’s core values of Truth, Love, and Compassion, she was drawn to a role where her passion for food could make a meaningful difference in people's lives.


With formal qualifications in Hospitality Management and Professional Cookery, Jade began her culinary career at the age of 15 as a ‘tea lady’ and has since dedicated herself to delivering nutritious, high-quality meals that bring joy to others—particularly the elderly, who she believes deserve an exceptional dining experience at every mealtime.


Her talent and commitment have been widely recognised: in 2022, Jade was awarded Great British Care Chef of the Year for the South Region, secured 1st place in the South-East Region at the National Association of Care Catering’s Care Chef of the Year competition, and was a finalist at the National Care Awards.


Following these proud achievements, Jade chose to take the next step in her career by moving into the role of Hotel Services Manager. In this new position, she is dedicated to delivering outstanding service across all areas of the home, always keeping the needs and wellbeing of residents at the heart of everything she does.

Harry Tucker is the talented Head Chef at Camberley Manor Care Home, having joined the TLC Group in January 2024. He brings a wealth of experience from his five-year tenure with Caring Homes, where he progressed from Sous Chef at Home of Compassion to Head Chef roles at both Horsell Lodge and Dormy House.

Dimpal Gadher

Job Title: Office Manager Joined: 2022

Dimpal joined TLC in May 2022 as Head Housekeeper at Camberley Manor and quickly distinguished herself through her dedication, professionalism, and passion for providing exceptional service. Thanks to the supportive environment at TLC, she embraced opportunities for growth and development, earning recognition as an Onboarding Champion, Manual Handling Champion, and Engagement Champion.


In April 2023, Dimpal transitioned into the role of Admin Assistant and has since been promoted to Office Manager. In this role, she plays a vital part in the day-to-day running of the home, fostering strong relationships with residents’ families and ensuring a warm, welcoming atmosphere.


Dimpal takes great pride in creating meaningful connections with those around her and is deeply committed to the values of care and compassion that define Camberley Manor. Outside of work, she enjoys listening to Bollywood music and spending quality time with her family.
