Residents welcome special visitors to Sandon House

Residents at Sandon House care home in Tameside were delighted to welcome the Under 7s team from Mossley Football Club to the home.

The children surprised the Residents after their last game of 2018. They arrived bearing gifts of biscuits, chocolates and sweet treats for the Residents.

Margaret, a Resident at the home, commented: “It was lovely to have the children come and visit us. They really brightened up my day.”

Lynne Campbell, Home Manager at Sandon House, said: “Everyone really enjoyed welcoming the Mossley Under 7s team into the home. Their gifts and enthusiasm put a smile on all our faces at Sandon.”
