My father was admitted in July 25 and mother December 25. Both were made very welcome and comfortable in their rooms. Both have different needs and the staff have catered for these while keeping them close together as they have been married for almost 76 years. The activities are varied and most interests are catered for. My parents, as are the family, delighted with the care given to our parents.

My auntie became a resident at Sandon House in April 2025 and within a few days the change in her appearance was quite remarkable. Choosing a care home is quite stressful but I have no doubts about my auntie being in Sandon House. I feel confident that I made the right choice for her as she is happy, socialising well with other residents, enjoying fabulous food and outstanding entertainment and activities. She is very well cared for and it shows in her appearance and general well being. Even my 12 years old grandson said "I can see why you chose Sandon House" after a visit with his school band.

Both my parents are in the home, they are very well looked after especially Mum who is now bedridden. The staff are excellent from the cleaners, to the laundry, to the kitchen and all the carers who do a wonderful job of looking after the residents. However, my dad is not eating very well as he doesn't like most of the food options, since being taken over by another company a few things have gone downhill ie cheap paper towels in bathrooms.

My mum has been living at this care home for over 16 months now . I couldn't be more grateful for the wonderful support she receives. The staff are genuinely caring, patient, and always takes the time to make sure she feels comfortable and feel reassured she is getting the care she needs . She gets treated with respect and dignity at all times .

The home is always clean, welcoming, and full of life. Knowing that my mum is not only well cared for but also truly engaged and enjoying herself with all the activities they do ! Special mention to Louise who organises all the activities, trips out , bingo , entertainment. Lots of things going on.

The hardest decision was placing my mum in a home and are so relieved and grateful to have found this care home ! I would highly recommend.

The staff led by Louise are very friendly and respectful of all the residents. The residents are very well looked after and the home is kept very clean and colourful. I asked a few months ago if it was possible to visit the residents and to chat with them about life and reminisce with them. Louse said yes and a lot of the residents and Lousie sat in on my first view. I have written a book about life changes from the 60s and everyone, staff included, loved the talk. I now visit Sandon House weekly, the residents love our 2-hour chat and sometimes a sing-along. I would recommend Sandon House as a top care home.

The family were apprehensive about placing my wife in care, however from day one all felt this was the best place to care for her Alzheimer's and as time passed there was an improvement in her health and personal wellbeing. We are very satisfied with everything at Sandon House.

Sandon House is a friendly and well run care home. The staff do their best, at times under extreme pressure to ensure that the residents are looked after to the highest standard, from the housekeeping staff, carers and events organiser. They all give 100%. My sister has been a resident for over 5 years and despite her declining health and inability to communicate, is cared for lovingly and with dignity. They make families and visitors welcome and try to keep a positive and friendly atmosphere.

Two family members are now residents of Sandon House. We feel that the care and attention given to them, by all staff is excellent. We have visited at all times during the day and always found the staff to be approachable, who communicate well with each other. Clearly led by an exceptional management team. The activities coordinator goes above and beyond working with pride and passion which is so lovely to see. Please forward our gratitude to them all. Thank you.

Our experience when visiting my mother-in-law is always comforting to see. She is always well looked after and happy. Many times we've turned up and she would be in her room dancing and singing to a particular music artist and that puts a smile on our face. We trust all the staff at Sandon House and they all do an excellent job.

Thank you to you all.

It's always a pleasure visiting Mam in the home because the staff are a credit to your company. They are in my mam's words "absolutely brilliant". Very caring and thoughtful and tend to all her needs with a smile on their faces. A special mention must go to the staff member who keeps them entertained and involved with games and entertainment which inspires the residents and keeps their minds going.

Sandon House has a very friendly caring staff and a welcoming atmosphere, Mum is comfortable living there and regards it as her home. I communicate regularly with the care home staff regarding visits and medical appointments and find them reliable and helpful. Managers are flexible and open to discussions regarding Mum's changing care needs. Mum's personal care has improved recently.

The home at Sandown House provided our family with the peace of mind that our mum is safe, well cared for and most importantly not alone. The staff are pleasant and keep us updated with Mum's health and well-being. We have a very positive relationship with staff and work together for the benefit of our mum. The home provides activities to engage the guests and provide beauty treatments, which Mum enjoys.
