Maypole Grove rated Good by CQC regulators

Exemplar Health Care’s specialist nursing home in Kings Heath in Birmingham, Maypole Grove, has been rated Good by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) – who highlighted its high quality care staff, person-centred care and an overall safe and friendly care home.

The CQC praised Maypole Grove, the 30-bed specialist care home which provides care for people living with complex mental-ill health, dementia and physical disabilities – for their commitment to respecting people’s dignity and privacy, commitment to meeting people’s care and social needs, and the hard work and dedication displayed by the clinical and care teams.

Euan Craig, Chief Executive at Exemplar Health Care, said: “I am thrilled to see that the CQC has recognised Maypole Grove for its high-quality care.

“At Maypole Grove, service users can make choices about their own care and the team actively involve individuals to be part of that journey. Since opening in June 2017, the home has consistently provided high quality care and support for some of the West Midland’s most vulnerable people.”
